  1. I use Aroma Haven(Rustic Escentuals) Mac Apple, IMO it's a dead ringer for Y****'s and a little better than BCN's. Not sure if they ship to Canada though.
  2. Hi Brenny, I live in MO and have found that Bitter Creek North in Wisconsin has the best shipping on wax to my area, so I order the majority of my supplies from them. Indiana is a little closer to WI than MO, so maybe give them a try.
  3. BCN Autumn Leaves. It gets better every time I pour it.
  4. I've been ordering form them for a while now and I usually always get an email confirmation. There has been only one time that I didn't, but the shipment was delivered on time. I guess they just forgot to send it out.
  5. Those look great. I love the way you have arranged the ones in the back, they look like a continuous wave.
  6. Thanks, he's my pride and joy. As for my last post, I was not trying to be rude. I was just flabbergasted by this tread, and the two posts prior really made me laugh. That’s all I was trying to say and I apologize if it came across as rude.
  7. ROFL! You guys crack me up!! I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time
  8. Holy Crap!! This thread is like a train wreck, I want to look away, but I can't. I do have one question though. And a simple yes or no answer will suffice. FHG, Have you tested every single scent in every size jar you are selling, all the way to the bottom? In other words, do you know how EACH one will burn ALL the way through?
  9. Very pretty!! I just love layered rustics. Marcela- I just noticed that you are in Costa Rica. What part? I'm originally from Panama and lived in Golfito for about 6 months.
  10. Thanks. I didn't think about the dye staining, I'll start with lighter colors and go from there. That's my son, he's such a love bug and likes to cuddle with our animals. The dog doesn’t care but the cats sure don't like it. lol
  11. Can anyone tell me if you can use soap molds to make little tarts? I have never made soap, so I don't know if these molds can stand up to the heat of melted wax. Thanks
  12. Botanica, do you also use these jars for wicked candles? If so, what wicks do you use? I have been trying all different types in 4630 and have not found one that I like very much. Any tips? Thanks
  13. I love the rustic layered looking pillars and am hoping that someone will take pity on me and help in my attempt to make one. I think I understand the basic concept on how they are made, but can you please tell me if I'm at least on the right track. 1) Pick you colors and scents then mix them separately.2) Pour first layer at a very low temp, just above melting point of wax. 3) Let layer cool, but not completely dry and pulling away for sides of the mold. But here is where I get a little confused -Do you pour your next layer at the same temp or a couple degrees higher? -Do you make enough of a batch of each to fill the mold ahead of time or do you make a new batch for each layer? -If you make enough the first time, then how do you avoid burning off the scent each time you reheat to pour the next layer? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!!
