  1. Thank you for your reply! I have lots of sizes of htp, zinc, and CD wicks.
  2. Hi! I have a great watering can that I would like to use for mothers day. It is 5" wide. Would you recommed double of triple wicking for that diameter? Thank you!
  3. I just tested the Cedar from peaks, I really liked it. It was strong to.
  4. I used ecsoya advanced with a 4" jar and the rrd55 did not work for me, but I like the HTP1212. Not sure if that was any help :embarasse Maybe I'll try the LX, What the heck, why not spend some more money:laugh2:
  5. I Love the creamy look of ecsoya CB advanced, but couldn't get it to throw. I love the throw of GB 444, but hated the ugly tops. I am currently Mixing half and half of them. My tops are creamy, little frosting and they actually throw. Is this all in my head? Does anyone else do anything like this?
  6. Oh thank you for think post! I am having the same exact problem with the same wax, I am using the 9oz and 16oz Melting Pot Jars from the Jar Store. Right now I am testing 3 different Size HTP wicks, a Zinc wick and a Cotton wick. I'll try adding FO at High temp. I have also come to the conclusion that low pour temp doesn't work, I still have to take a heat gun to the top of it. Thank you!
  7. Hi! I was wondering if a Container made of Resin will hold up to a candle?
  8. Hi! I am using a rrd55 in a 9 oz melting pot from the jar store, with ecosoya cb advanced. It is burning pretty good. but little throw and little flame and little lip of wax. What would be the next wick size up from the rrd 55? I think that is the biggest rrd they make and have not been impressed. Thanks a bunch!
  9. NG is Kama Sutra Type. I do want to try that though:grin2: I'll try Flickers! Thank you
  10. I have tried From Nature with Love, it was a good match but the price and shipping is a little high, and it take 3 weeks from me to get it. I also Tried Save on Scent and It was NOT a good match at all. Thanks!
  11. Hi! I have been looking and looking. I am looking for Victoria Secret Type Passionate Kisses that will throw in soy. Any one know of a good match? Thank you!
  12. Hum, I would be interested in this also. I live at 6800 Ft.
  13. Thank you so much for the help! I did burn them and the rrd 55 leaves about 1/2 lip and burns out.
  14. I had my wick and wax mix down to a science, and not realizing how much of a difference a new wax would make, And Needing to replenish stock, and having fun making candles, I made about 20 jars. Now testing a retesting, I see that my old wicks (rrd55) don't work with my new wax (ecosoy advanced CB). I have heard you cannot reuse a glass jar because of stress. I was wanting to melt them down and rewick. Can I reuse these jars or am I in serious trouble??
