  1. I have been looking for a dupe in this as well...in Volcano fragrance
  2. I really like them both. Black lines and all....I think they are very artistic. Like an abstract landscape....beautiful.
  3. O...that blue one looks like water in a swimming pool!!! That is cool.
  4. oooo I like that...I kept looking and I had a hard time seeing the design on the CS site...way awesome!
  5. Have 1 with spigot or however you spell it. I just make candles as a hobby. Hubby put the spigot on and I remember how long it took him! He wanted to make sure it was perfect. LOL! I love it and I always use the spout thingy to drain the melted wax out of.
  6. Libby, I am from Texas. I lived for a real short time in Haskell, TX and we'd go to Abilene every other weekend to see a movie and go shopping. It was the 'big city'! I miss Texas often!
  7. I don't know if it means anything, BUT I saw your ad/business logo on the back of a van and wanted to just let you know I saw it, so others saw it I was out working and I told the person in the car with me, LOOK! JUST RIGHT CANDLES! They are on the candle boards I read!!! So, way cool!
  8. Those are really awesome and artistic...love them!
  9. That is interesting...the reselling part. I was under the impression that when you buy an item intent for resell you must declare that at time of purchase and fill out a form indicating these intentions to resell and indicate if any alterations will be made to the item purchased prior to resale. I think that is required in order to eliminate the original company from liability issues. That was in Texas though with interior designers and goodness knows not everyone declared the intent to resell. *shrug*
  10. Not to get off track, but I went to the Scent Review Board to read that thread and tried to register and it said my email was banned and I've never even been there before... That is so not cool.
  11. My mom loves the ginger peach that pier 1 has. I ordered at least 3 different ginger peaches from different suppliers since last November...now I can't remember which one was the closest dupe I believe I ordered from candlewic, lonestar, and peak??? maybe??? Anyone know where I can find this scent that smells like the pier 1 one?? :embarasse
  12. wow! Thanks for all the feedback. That helps alot You all rock!
  13. Most candle-scaping is safest with glass or rocks. If you want to use your wooden flowers I would recommend using them with something similar to the following: Hurricane Candlescaping That way the wooden items are separated from the flame. Hope that helps a little. Wooden roses sound lovely.
  14. Awesome! I appreciate your reply. Thanks much!
  15. I found a lot of B&B related stuff when I did a search for Bramble Berry, but I was curious...has anyone ordered FO for candles from them?
  16. My attempt at multi color rustics.... I rather rushed it at the top of the candle and didn't get as much white as I wanted. It ended up blending into the first pour of red...ohs well! mcintosh apple 009sm.bmp mcintosh apple 008sm.bmp
  17. I've never done luminaries, but could you find some clip art online and print it off onto a special type of paper for your project? If so I'm sure we could find cool dolphins online.
  18. lol I went to a furniture store last weekend looking for a new tv stand and they had candles made just like that all over the store. I thought they looked kinda ...well...not so refined *shrug*
  19. I was trying to re-find the website...I believe its LED on the bottom half that reacts to the light on the top half and it only burns halfway?? I'll have to find the website and re read it. I think that is what it is tho...hmmm
  20. I was thinking about this alot lately when I was picking my colors out for my fragrances, as well as what fragrances go with what season, etc, etc... I know alot of fragrances have colors we mentally predetermine go with that scent, but there is alot of leverage in color combinations, especially when one renames their fragrance, etc. I had switched at one point to fashion design in college and the Color Marketing Group was a big thing for what colors in fashion will be popular, and thus sell better than other colors (aka more fashionable). This also applies to home furnishing/decor, etc...So, just food for thought...as the years and seasons change the CMG posts color trends here: CMG To actually get their sample swatches and stoof is a small fortune, but you can look over the website and see pictures and get the descriptions for the upcoming color groups! Thought that might be helpful for some that like to play with color combos
  21. I've seen those used as tart packaging at Bizzy b's candles and I've also come across this scent/colored wax display case At Wix End
