  1. I knew someone that had about 40 lbs of shea butter in their workshop. While on vacation out of the country, rats somehow got into the workshop and ate ALL the shea butter. They didn't die either until the pest/rodent man came and snapped them with traps.
  2. does anyone else sell them?
  3. has anyone used these yet? do they work well and are they refillable?
  4. Where can I find silica gel? It seems like all the suppliers I've found are out.
  5. I have never had a problem with BCN's spiced cranberry with EZ Soy. I use 3/4 oz per pound of wax. I heat the wax to about 180-185 and stir in FO at the same temp for a few minutes.
  6. your website makes me want to spend some money.
  7. I'd also recommend getting some of those baking sheets at the dollar store.. that way when you pour and accidentally spill.. it will catch the spilled wax.
  8. I have seen colored bottles at thesage.com
  9. Learned soemthing new... I had no idea that igi 2281 is a therapeutic wax.
  10. Office supply stores have them... Target has a few nice ones too, but it's been awhile since I was looking for them so I can't be sure that they still do.
  11. I triple wick ez soy in that container with htp 105
  12. you won't be disappointed with that printer.
  13. I also use caramel from BCS
  14. I also forgot to mention about the Okidata... it is a one pass color laser printer. Many of the budget color lasers have to make 4 passes to get all the colors which may put a higher rate of jams or labels peeling off while printing. And since it is a one pass printer, it can print in color faster.
  15. Add me for another vote on the Okidata. I have the C5150 and love how the toner is a bit glossy without using glossy paper. I've had the printer for maybe a year now. No problems with it so far.
  16. i used to use a coffee decanter to pour votives. it was easier for me to do the repours with it vs the 4lb pour pot. then i got the smaller pour pot and it works good too, but i still prefer the coffee decanter for the repours.
  17. I use htp 31 or 41 for paraffin (1343). Soy votives, I use htp 62 or 73.
  18. Air pockets in palm votives. I hate those stinkin' air pockets. Even when you poke relief holes, there are still air pockets in the votive. In fact, when I repour, I use a small poker and kinda dig in the relief hole til all the air bubbles come out. If you dig too much, the cooled wax that comes up from the hole will mar the top of the votive. But, it's better than having a votive that is lit and then goes shwoooooosh when it hits the air pocket.
  19. Reviving this thread to find out what the results were.
  20. Yes, You can smell both the coffee and caramel. When I first smelled this FO oob, it nearly knocked me out. I smelled more of the coffee than anything else. After adding it to the wax.... YUM! Mouthwatering-I-Need-A-Cup-of-Coffee-NOW kind of yum. Black raspberry vanilla, I have no comparison for peaks. The first time I ever found a brv was from the candlesource, and I have stuck with it since it has been tested in my waxes.
  21. I use that jar with ezsoy. i dont use a single wick, but instead double wick with htp83
  22. i have not used j223, but both of those scents are awesome in ezsoy and igi1343
  23. That's funny. A while ago, I used to order my palm wax in the 5 lbs samples b/c it was cheaper than buying a single case. Then, a few weeks ago when I got ready to oder more, the price had gone up to $6. I guess it went back down.
