OK, so the additional oils neutralized the "sticky" feeling? I'm confused. There is no chemical reaction when you add oils to MP so they are "free floating" oilsl Just wondering what your chemical analysis is for the additional oil. -

I don't think the adhesive would be good after you used the soap. Unless you shrink wrapped the words, or something. -
Try spritzing it with witch hazel or alchohol. let dry and repackage. Remelting won't solve the crystal issue.

If you're tinkering with a base...how does that affect the preservative?

MP bases vary widely i quality. I've never liked BCN. If you wash your hands with a little slice and your hands feel 'sticky'......well, that shouldn't happen.
