  1. I never had a problem with my 4045h mottling. But then again I have never tried it w/o FO. When I first got the wax and only used FO, it mottled well, but didn't hold scent for nothing.
  2. you should have a web address for them when you log in there. just copy and paste the URL's (addresses) into your forum post. That should work for you.
  3. Looking at those mottled 3x3's then at the price they charged ($.69) blew my mind! Mind you they most be loaded with oil and therefore have a MP of maybe 132, MAYBE, but geese! Low quality or not, that's just nuts!
  4. I'm curious as to what should I add to a pillar blend to knock the meltpoint low enough to use it in containers. I buy candlewic's 4045h in 50 lbs cases, so I have plenty to experiement with.
  5. Have you tried buffing it with a wash cloth? I usually use that or a paper towel for any imperfection before I saran wrap it.
  6. I got my hands on it in a huge lot I bought from someone here on this site. For those who have never tried it, let me tell you something. GET IT! It's one of those blackberry-sage like FO's that appeals to most tastes and most of my guy friends really liked it as well. I went through mine quick.
  7. Call me nuts (and many already do), but I'd love to see you create a cake like this with slightly grubby icing. Your talent with these cake candles just blows me away.
  8. I think the line pulled your eyes from the over all candle. Maybe if you had more lines, it would look neat. With that said, I aggreed with Donita when she said you could have just used it at home and watched your repours next time. I personally don't like remelting as it burns off fragrance. But that's just my two cents. With that said, you have some nice candles there. Keep it up with the good stuff, and the lessons that go along with 'em.
  9. Those things are TOO perfect. Kinda gives me the creeps. heh I bet those burn like their plastic looking crappy counter part candles. You know, the ones that are shaped awesome, but are poured with the lowest grade (thinking granulated) wax posible. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
  10. YES YES YES! I use this wax and I'll tell ya what, all by itself, this wax can't hold scent for nothin! Before I bought stearic, the candle would completely loose its smell within two weeks. I was surprised to see no visible difference in the stearic and none candle, though.
  11. Beautiful! This is the only wax I use. Good luck, Steve.
  12. What about an LX wick? I do a lot of tiny pyramids and use lx-12. That one might not be the best, but with it being self triming, it takes the scare out of it a bit.
  13. These make me want to get that mold.
  14. I want one! They must smell sooooo good.
  15. Very nice. I inject these bears myself. They are too cute.
  16. Whoa! I really like these! They look awesome.
  17. Very nice. It's a bit of a change from the usual swirls.
