  1. IFRA publishes guidelines/restrictions for eos as well. Good education is the key. Good place to start: http://www.aromamedical.com/articles/eosafety.html Info re horses: http://www.indiadivine.org/audarya/ayurveda-health-wellbeing/1063435-mosquito-repellent-horses.html http://www.thelavendercat.com/3522.html ETA: Profile...Mentha Piperita Oil (Peppermint) http://www.thegoodscentscompany.com/data/es1017391.html
  2. Pretty sure they sourced from Belle-Aire Fragrances. http://www.belle-aire.com/
  3. Excellent resource: http://whreviews.com/searchstrategy.htm Be sure to read the "Articles" on the left-hand menu.
  4. The entire accurate story? For that, my dear Stella, you would need to read the actual trial transcript.
  5. That is sad. Many excellent fos, hope someone picks them up.
  6. The newer one is called, "L de Lolita Lempicka". My review was for the original, "Lolita Lempicka" that WSP discontinued.
  7. It is exact. ETA: My comment is for the original not the newer "L" ...
  8. Genetic Engineered Soy for tainted toys...guess they see it as fair trade.
  9. No, the problem is that most are passive, just swallow it and do nothing. I on the other hand, would challenge it. Make outrageous claims and untruths targeted at my customer base, trust me, I will come after you.
  10. I kid you not, just ran into this one the other day: "Soy candles are the preferred choice for the health-minded candle lover because of the natural properties it emits into the air............... Live a healthier life…burn soy candles." Who knew?
  11. Take action. Don't let them get away with it. Get a hold of whatever written claims they are spewing and report them. There are truth-in-advertising rules in place. http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/buspubs/ad-faqs.shtm Scroll down to: What can my company do if a competitor is running an ad that I think is deceptive?
  12. It threw incredibly for everyone and nope, no hint of fuel. I am baffled. You might want to try WYW's Vanilla Grapefruit. It is strong, 3% is what I use in paraffin.
  13. Safely tucked away in my favorites. Loved their dark bittersweet chocolate.
  14. See this article: http://community.basenotes.net/archive/index.php/t-201842.html You could try ordering the soap, cut up a few chunks and mail to some good noses to help pin down the notes.
  15. They make many products, many fragrances. NYC site carries their full range of products. Hard to navigate, just keep clicking until you get to their product page: http://www.lafcony.com/smn/
  16. The strategy involved in marketing is just that; a well thought out plan. The crucial point that was overlooked and not mentioned in the link you provided is when offering anything free you need to target a *select* market, i.e., people who would most likely BUY your product, certainly not the entire worldwide web. As far as undoing the damage in your particular situation, I'd add some targeted guilt into your recovery plan. All that have taken thus far, has to be a few that are not completely without shame. Best of luck to you. If nothing else, you have a valuable lesson to learn by. :smiley2:
  17. Clever lady. What a perfect reply to, "mind if I ask where you get your sugar cookie fo?"
  18. CBL-129 should be heated initially to 190° - 200°F. To top off you want to get close to those temperatures. The key with this wax is to pour hot. When I used this wax, I heated to 200°F. Can't see how a formulation issue that occurred several years ago and was corrected could be relevant to your outcome now? Of course should your problems persist despite following the hot guidelines, definitely give Candlewic (Ellen or Bill Binder) a call.
  19. CBL-129 has to be poured hot. For your initial pour, what is the temperature that you are heating to?
