  1. Pretty sure Trappeur will tell you lemon verbena! It is great. I use several from them and have been pleased. I get my jars, wicks, and 4625 from them. Great customer service and fast shipping ups for me. I'm in south GA and get next day.
  2. I made a graph by putting the jar on stiff paper, drawing a circle around it then centering it (measure)and making marks where to put my wicks.
  3. I have used the gloss I think it was years ago. You have to spray lightly and keep the candle turning while spraying if I remember correctly. I got a cheap turntable so I could keep it turning. And yes, beautiful pillar!
  4. WSP used to have a bourbon vanilla that was really good. Don't know if they still have it or not. The date on my bottle is 2007. I loved it but didn't sell good back then but since bourbon scents have become more popular may need to try it again!
  5. Has anyone ordered from this supplier?
  6. You might want to look at Regional Rate A or B. The B may work and for me using regional rates has been cheaper.
  7. @birdcharm This is what IGI said to do and have been doing this for years and my pillars have been fine, in fact I sell more pillars that I do containers.
  8. I have a tool from walmart sort of like a painter tool with a wide sharp blade and handle and just hammer it and does a good job of cutting it up. Something like this - have used one like this before but the one I have now is just straight without curve.
  9. Just replied Elysian. Be sure you are using 103 vybar!
  10. The first one like others and like Island girl said the teal flowers with the teal font and wax will just look great I think.
  11. I don't know if anyone remembers but in the past someone posted about the difference in smelling your scents in summer with AC and ceiling fan going.
  12. I like Lone Stars Teal also. In fact most of my dyes are from LS which were ordered many years ago!
  13. Years ago when I had fingernailing and snowflaking think it was called using 4625 I searched and finally found on Cierra Web Site where they said to add 3 TBS stearic and 1 tsp vybar 103 per lb. I called them and asked where this info came from and they said from IGI. I started doing this and still do and have never had the problem again. Hope this helps.
  14. I ordered some from them when I started years ago and was not impressed but that could have changed over the years.
  15. That price does include the shipping. Their oils are higher priced but when you figure in shipping it's not to bad. They have some oils I love so I just grit my teeth and add it to my cart! Edited to add I just average up the cost of all fragrance oils and use that average for all.
  16. I like Farmhouse Cider from WSP. This is their description - A unique apple cider blend with ginger root, goji berry, cassia root and subtle green field notes.
  17. TallTayl you must be in some of the groups on face book! I just cannot tell you how many times I have heard flash point and also shipping a glass candle in a padded envelope. It really is unbelievable some of the things I see in some of the groups, gets comical at times. Sometimes I try to help and other times just figure it is better to say nothing. Sorry for bold print, can't get it off!
  18. For got to add and I guess after 1 edit you can't do another? Any way I use hot glue for my wicks and do not twist them until after they have been glued to container and the hot glue has cooled.
  19. I use 4625 and years ago I was having snow flaking really bad in my pillars. After searching for this Cierra Candles said to add 3 TBS steric and 1 TSP vybar 103 per lb. I called them to be sure about this and they said IGI suggested adding this for the snow flaking and finger nailing which I also had in my pillars. After I started doing this I had no problem with my wax. I sell more pillars than I do containers. Not sure about the opacity though, after all these years I never understood for sure what was meant by that! If it is what I think then IGI 1343 may be what you are looking for, I have used this at times for chunk candles but like 4625 better for the burn. This had no additives I think but not as even a burn as I like
  20. When you twist your wick it gives you a more even burn as it untwist as it burns. I twist mine at the top and them secure it with a wick bar. To add, don't know about ECO wicks, I use cd wicks.
  21. They have excellent oils, never had a problem with any I have ordered.
  22. I do same as TallTayl and buy from labels by the sheet.
  23. I use the big wide mouth canning/canister glass jars. Works great in my opinion.
  24. When you are using a high temp glue gun just be sure you are using high temp glue sticks. The multi temp glue sticks do not hold good.
