  1. I've had my presto pots with spigots for many years with no leaking but they were bought that way I think from same place. Like kandlekrazy I also have a turkey fryer with spigot. Keep container wax in turkey fryer, pillar wax in presto, melts wax in presto, and keep one empty to use if I have a large order for one scent then use empty for that. Wouldn't want to be without them.
  2. I have 3 presto pots, bought with spigots. Love them, you can fill it full of wax and just pour out what you need into pitcher. One thing I never put the lid on my presto pot until after my wax has cooled and completely hardened. My thoughts were steam build-up. Never had problem with moisture in my prestos.
  3. Buy a blended paraffin pillar wax and you will have better results. Sounds like birdcharm said, using straight paraffin.
  4. I just poured 2 oils from RE that were bought in 2009 and just as good as they were when I bought them. I keep most of my oils in a separate room that is dark & cold and they have kept fine. Edited to add I also have oils much older that are fine. I also keep them in the bottles they come in and burp them if they concave.
  5. Just clicked on link and page says no longer available. I saw them also, they were very pretty.
  6. I have been using Flaming Candles for several years. They have 4625 but I order 4786 from Aztec. I also like many of the oils from Flaming. I really stopped using CS years ago when they stopped selling 4786. Shipping from Flaming is great and also their customer service.
  7. I have used 4625 for years for votives & pillars & never had it mottle. Only thing I had years ago was the finger nailing and snow flaking but once I added stearic & vybar to it never happened again. Always have smooth tops after second pour. I pour at 180-185 and use 6-8 % fragrance oil, depending on oil. I do mix it 50/50 with 4786 for melts.
  8. What are you using to adhere your wick to your jar. Sounds to me like you are using wax to adhere your wick to container?
  9. Balsam & Citrus is a favorite of mine also but it seems many of my customers prefer more floral scents & patchouli types. I prefer spicy 1st then bakery 2nd. But you gotta pour what they want!
  10. I have several but my best sellers of theirs is the sensuous black rose, hyacinth, flowerbomb, & cranberry fig.
  11. I use unscented baby wipes to clean any drips off my jars then just paper towel to finish it off if needed.
  12. I tried having the Regional Rate A on my drop down and customers always select that so I had to take it off. It ended up costing me to much. Over the years I offered different rates and it just didn't work out. I do offer USPS and UPS on my drop down. My shipping charge is based on the weight of each product. If they are over charged I always refund anything 1.00 over. If they are offered cheaper rates they alway select the cheapest no matter how much they have ordered.
  13. I have a candle test sheet that I print and then use a hole puncher and keep my sheets in a notebook using ABC etc tabs to separate scents. Keep notebooks by year.
  14. Mine is a presto flat griddle also and been using it forever it seems. I can get 4 pour pots on it easily.
  15. You should be in one of the FB groups! Where one person is duping some and a supplier as well and just egging stuff on. Sure is a supplier I'll never order from again. I ordered from them once when they first started and their oils were about par to me. But they were great about butting in when someone was looking for an oil. Think they tried to get in all the groups they could. Like a soap opera!!
  16. Keystone Candle Supple bought Peak inventory including codes for their fragrance oil. They have a website that should be updated with Peak oils, and they will be labeled as Peaks, ready for ordering very soon from post on Face Book. Some have called in to order and they have been placed.
  17. Haven't read all the comments but I use 4625 for pillars & votives and do a 50/50 mix with 4786 for melts. I think 4625 by itself for melts may be to hard, for me it was. I pour 4625 around 180-185.
  18. Well I'll be different! I alway leave the lid off when melting and leave it off till the wax has cooled. Just always thought it was better that way so the wax would cool quicker.
  19. I like the silver lid better than the glass I think.
  20. I was on a Eucalyptus hunt and tried many but after I got the Eucalyptus (Thymes Ltd type) I stopped looking. Best I found.
  21. I order from Aztec and use my card and never had a problem.
  22. Well I pour Nag Champa and Patchouli, they not my favorites but I can handle them. The very worse I have ever smelled and poured is Natures Garden Leather Jacket. I had a wholesale account that liked it. Thank goodness she has stopped ordering it.
  23. I saw in one of the FB groups where Pam said the oils that were Peaks would be listed as Peaks.
  24. Just saw where Pam Harper - Keystone Candle has bought Peaks. She said she will have all the oils - not duplications.
