  1. Thank you very much! To be honest, I don't like to read on the screen. And I think for beginners it's easier to read a book, than searching through all the stuff that is written in a forum. I already looked on amazon, but there are so many books, that I don't know which one I could order. And another reason is, I would like to sell some books to my customers. But that's difficult, because most of them don't speak English very well. Bye, Sandy
  2. Hello, I was searching for a book with many ideas for candle making. In my language I didn't find much, but in English there seem to be many wonderful books. But which books are the best? Could you name one or two? I love to see beautiful pictures, get new ideas and so on. Bye, Sandy
  3. Thank you. Well, I will be a candlemaker by myself, but I'm not very creative, and there are still many wonderful candles on the market. That's why I don't want to sell the candles. It's just for me, and for knowing what I am selling, and to be able to give advices to the customers. Bye, Sandy
  4. What does "KWIM" mean? It's really difficult to find trusted suppliers. Could you name a few? There are so much, that I don't know where to start. And I must be careful that the shipping isn't too expensive. I've never imported anything, and the law in Germany is a bit complicated (they want money for everything...). I guess the laws in foreign countries are much easier to understand. That's why many German people go away from here. Thank you very much for helping me!!! Bye, Sandy
  5. @ cindym: I'd like to sell everything that you need for candle making. The wax, and especially the perfumed oil. The manufacturers in the USA do have totally different fragrances than the manufacturers in Germany. Bye, Sandy
  6. I am making my own candles, but here in Germany are too many who sell their selfmade candles, and only a few who sell the raw material (I'm not speaking about being a wholesaler), that's why I won't need too much money. I guess you might not know our market, and you can't compare it to the market in the USA or in England. Bye, Sandy
  7. Thank you very much. That's almost the wax I was searching for. Bye, Sandy
  8. Is here anyone who sells the raw material for candle making? I would like to open my own online-shop, and first of all I'd like to sell raw material. Does anyone know the following book? "Stop Burning Time & Money in your Candle Business" I would like to know what you are thinking about it, and if it's also good for someone who sells raw material instead of candles (One day I would like to sell some candles, too. But selling raw material, and giving some advices, seems to be more interesting to me.) Bye, Sandy
  9. Oh sorry! I mean creamy in texture. It could be in the form of panels. I've seen it once (I think it was 5kg panels) in an online-shop, but I would like to know if there's a manufacturer or distributor who sells it. Bye, Sandy
  10. I am searching for Paraffin Cream Wax. Have you ever heard about it? Do you know where I can get it? Bye, Sandy
