  1. Thank you very much...anywhere else that doesn't have a $25 min.?
  2. Anyone know where I can get a Jasmine Vanilla BBW dup oil at? TIA!
  3. Just wanted to add this scent ROCKS in b&b... made my daughter shower gel in it and it blows away any store bought. Wonderful scent...good luck with wicking it.
  4. Partylite is discont'ing this scent . LMK what you find!
  5. I don't typically comment in the gallery too often but I have to say what a beautiful candle, amazingly thoughtful carving and a wonderful gift you did for her.
  6. Is anyone else noticing a difference in Peak's creme brulee from last season (Fall) to this season? It doesn't seem as strong & lighter oil color too. I only had a little bit from last fall and sold those candles so I have nothing to compare at the moment but a few customers and myself have noticed it not being as strong throwing...just a lot lighter.
  7. Looks great and even better in person...got my box today and have already dived in and used 3 of the products...omg, I'm in heaven! You ladies makes some wonderful items.
  8. Thx for everyone's reply and ya'll really put things into perspective! Everything is increasing like crazy and good point on the expense of retesting. I went ahead and got a bunch of samples from CS anyways but will rethink what I replace now. Thx for listening to me whine!
  9. I guess I'm just whinning here but I order the majority of my holiday oils from Peaks and stressing over their pricing of some of their oils...$20.50/lb., gulp! Just last year I wasn't paying more than $17.95/lb. I just ordered a bunch of samples from CS after reading good reviews on their oils in general plus their pricing is way more reasonable. I'm hoping to find some replacements for Peaks oil but really bummed as I knew what to expect with them. Anyone else bailing on them due to their price increase since last year? I use GL's oils too...they're local so no shipping or cheap shipping at least. I'm trying to limit my suppliers to just a few.
  10. I've done both and currently doing paraffin only due to price of soy right now. I've done 100% soy, soy blend as well. I loved my soy blend just couldn't afford it so I switched to paraffin. 100% soy had major appearance issues and so left it undyed. IMO, paraffin works best with most oils...soy is a little more picky and requires the good stuff!
  11. Thx for everyone's suggestions. I think I got them now. Spiced Cider (Apple Cider) Holiday Memories (Home for The Holidays) Creme Brulee Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin (Sweet Pumpkin Spice) Not that really big of a change and don't think it really upscaled it but you guys helped me in making my decision so thank you!!
  12. Enchanted Home sounds very nice! I don't know what pumpkin souffle smells like but I like it!
  13. I guess nothing too crazy...something that still describes these scents and its true name but without the 'country' flare to it. Does that make sense? Some of the other seasonal scents are: - Warm Vanilla Oak - Pomergrante Fig Cedar - Apricot Spice Those names scream more upscale to me than previous list. Thx for the creme brulee suggestion!
  14. I carry more of an upscale candle but when it comes to the holidays I seem to struggle with how to rename my top sellers. Here's what I have that I'm looking for a more upscale name for: - Apple Cider (even thought about Spiced Apples) - Home for the Holidays - Sweet Pumpkin Spice - Creme Brulee (doubtful I can rename it) Any suggestions?? TIA!
  15. Next to Sweet Pumpkin Spice it's one of my best sellers over the holidays!
  16. I was a fan of your wax and Brenda always did a great job in helping with any issues with batches. I haven't ordered 70/30 in a while so not sure what happened on the last few batches but overall I was completely happy with this wax. My only reason for ditching it was PRICE! Holy crap it got expensive. I'm using J50 now mainly because I can afford it and pick it up local but it doesn't adhear well...I had the temps down on the 70/30 and it always adheared perfectly...I miss that!
  17. I'm not saying what I do is right but for bakery scents especially...creme brulee included, I would wick up 1 size to test. The other frustrating thing about testing is when you test...hot summer months or cooler weather seems to make a difference too in my testing. So even if a smaller wick does good in the summer for a bakery fo it may not during cold winter (house temps change) so depending on time of year I factor in which means holiday scents I lean more towards wicking up in general.
  18. Pom & cedar is my new fav of their oils...warm van. oak may beat it out though .
  19. GL maybe bringing in Tuscan Wine...I was lucky enough to sniff a sample OOB and was shocked how it smelled like the real thing! I'm not in the market for it but you may want to check with GL to see if they're bringing it in or not.
  20. Ditto as Pam...tested in J50. I'm most looking forward to the Warm Van. Oak and Apricot Spice. OOB was fantastic!
  21. Peak's Sage & Lemongrass is my top seller year round...not sure if it's an exact dup or not though.
  22. I'd be careful of someone being allergic to nickel. Most costume charms have nickel in it.
