  1. I know for sure that the candied apple smells exactly like the it. I have never tried the wintery candy apple before.
  2. I use a cheap rice cooker from Walgreens : ) It's the exact same thing as the soap melter they sell at Michaels for a quarter of the price. If you wait until they go on sale you can get one for right around $10 or so. I holds a little over six pounds.
  3. I bought one of these from my friends store a few years ago. I usually don't spend that kind of money on bath bombs but it was before I knew what they were and how to make them myself. The minute I saw them, I had to have one. They had them displayed unwrapped in these big beautiful jars in a self serve set up. They had these cute little bags to put them in and inside was a little card listing all these pampering ingredients, tellin me how much I deserved it. It worked, I convinced myself that I needed it and didn't care what the price was : ) I expected it to be phenomenal, but was really disappointed when I actually used it, it was nothing special at all. I will say, it was really pretty though and that's what sold me on it plus like I said it was before I knew all about bath bombs and the whole concept sounded so cool to me at the time. You're absolutely right, it's the marketing for sure.
  4. PrairiAnnie Every time I try jojoba oil in my soap it makes it waxy with no lather at all. Do the other ingredients that you add counteract the waxy feel of the jojoba?
  5. FYI activated charcoal works really well too with a clear base.
  6. Yes, it's pretty much a rice cooker that's been renamed a soap melter : ) Mine holds a little over 6 pounds and I paid about $10 on sale at Walgreens. I have several of them, they go on sale all the time.
  7. That's where I got the idea, the soap melter I saw at Michaels looked exactly like a rice cooker except it was about $30 more than a rice cooker : )
  8. Have you ever tried a rice cooker? That's what I use and it works great. They're not too bad in price either if you wait until they're on sale at Walgreens. Clean up's pretty good too since you can take the insert out to wash it. Lori
  9. WOW, thank you so much. I literally googled for hours looking for that!
  10. I'm looking for a duplicate of Coty's "Emeraude" for a special order. Does anyone know where I might find it? Thanks
  11. I haven't tried it but I just ordered some too. I usually use the Coconut Milk base from Candlewic in addition to the other bases from EBC, and it's fantastic so I'm hoping this one will be too so that I can order all my bases from one place : )
  12. Hello, Just wanted to let you know that I have one of these molds and I was having problems with unmolding too. Now I wipe it down with mineral oil each time and it unmolds beautifully!
  13. I've been trying to put together an order too, I love them! I just don't want to order the quantity needed to get them wholesale
  14. Yes, that's the one.
  15. The soap I got was the Dr. Bronners Organic Shikakai baby soap. Maybe that's why it's a darker color?
