  1. Hi, thank you very much. I must really be stupid when it comes to computers because I still can't figure out how to save it like you said. My choices are a zipped file or all files. But I'm going to keep trying. Thanks again,
  2. Hi, I would love to have this but I can't get it to open. Would you care to email it to me? Thank you
  3. I'm sorry I didn't see your question about the 141 . I really like it. I've used it so long I hate to switch. It's so easy to use and the scent throw is great. I've never had any problem with it not melting in the warmers. I used it for tarts and pillar candles. It's easy to color and holds a lot of fragrance.
  4. Thank you very much I will check them out right now. I'm down to just a few pounds of wax and I have to find a good one soon.
  5. I have been using cbl-141 from candle wic. It's going to cost me 42.00 a case to ship it No one else sells this wax. I know there has to be another wax just as good as this somewhere.
  6. Hi everyone, I am looking for a good wax for tarts. The co. I usually buy wax from is so far away it costs me as much for shipping as the wax. So I need a new wax and I'm totally lost. I need your help . What would anyone on here suggest. I want a wax that I can make a strong tart with. I'm looking for a good pre blended paraffin wax. Thank you.
  7. Thanks everyone, I would love to try the 464 now. Especially if it works for tarts and containers. thank you all so much.
  8. Wow! thank you! I've never heard of growing wax before. I'm so glad I asked about it before I bought it. I have enough problems with the wax I know. I don't think I want to use a wax like that. I guess I'll just keep looking. I'm actually trying to find a wax that is very very close to the J223 because the price has gone up so high and by the time I pay shipping it's costing me about 100.00 a case. Not much profit in that.
  9. I haven't been on here in a while and I wanted to say hello. I was wondering what you think of the Golden Brand waxes. I have never used it and I'm thinking about trying it because it is closer to me than the wax I use. Any opinions on this wax would be appreciated. thanks
  10. I wonder if they have messed up batches of wax that they try to get rid of every so often. I'm done with it though.
  11. I've been using cbl-129 for tarts and the tops always came out so smooth. Made very pretty tarts! The last case of 129 I bought about a month ago is terrible. The edges of the tarts swell up. Looks like little pies or something. I have lowered the pouring temp. Raised the pouring temp. Nothing helps! I asked candlewic if they changed it and all they said was try adding more fragrance. I can't add more fragrance. I'm already using all the wax will hold. I won't ever buy this wax again. Any other 129 users noticed this?
  12. Janet, I was thinking that could be the problem. I measured the hole in the candle and it's only 1 3/4 in. wide. I guess I can carve it out bigger. Do you think going down to a 3 watt bulb would help? The strange thing is I've made these before with no problems but this week it seems nothing wants to work right. Thank you so much for your help.
  13. I have used the 4761 and the 4794 wax to make these. I'm using a 5 watt silicone bulb but with both waxes after I've had them turned on for a couple hours they are melting on the inside. Is there another or better wax for this. Is there anything I can do to this wax to make it work?? Totally confused!
  14. I use clear bags to package them in but sometimes when I make them and don't have the time to package them right away I will put them in a ziploc bag. Am I messing up my candles when I do that?
