  11. THanks Ladies I am so proud to call him my dad. And sorry I did not mean to hijack the thread........ I was just wanting to show that the anise EO DOES work!!!!!
  12. I know the anise oil works really well with fishing...... My dad wanted me to make some and I did.....I cannot stand the smell of it. But I made soap, and spray........ He put everything that he was going to wear the next day fishing into a garbage bag and sprayed it with the spray that I made him and let it sit overnight. Then the morning he was to go out fishing he showered with my soap, and put on those now anise scented clothes....... throughout the day he would spray himself and especially his hands. And lures and what-not...... and look at what he caught!!! http://www.geocities.com/nuttyforsoaps/bones.html
  13. I have just made a soggy soap this morning and it is looking pretty good. I basically used the recipe posted by crying moon. Looks wonderful. I added tea tree oil and lavender...also used oatmeal water instead of adding regular to it. (it was a special request from a pet sitter) She was thrilled when I told her that I saw a recipe for a doggy bar......... HUGE thanks Crying Moon!!!!!!

  15. I got this in my e-mail this morning and wanted to give you ladies the heads up: Unfortunately, due to current raw material cost increases (materials that depend on oil prices), we have found it necessary to increase the price of melt and pour soap base. Effective 7/12/2006 at 8 am (Eastern Time) the price of all soap base will increase .03/lb. Although freight prices have increased significantly, we will continue to have delivered pricing on pallets of soap base. To help with this increase, we will be open this Friday from 9am-5pm (eastern) to accommodate telephone orders. Current soap base prices will be in effect only while supplies last so please order quickly if you are interested in avoiding the increase. Our online store is open and ready to take your order! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call or email us. The WSP Customer Service Team www.WholesaleSuppliesPlus.com 1-800-359-0944
  16. I am pretty new here and I am just flabergasted (SP) at how rude some people can be. If you do not want to pay for help then don't.....plain and simple, just trot over to a new topic and leave things alone. But to say such harsh things to what I can gather is a wonderfully talented and very kind and giving lady is another. Everyone here knows that they can google about anything. However the quality of what you get and how reliable are a whole different story. How many times have people thought that they had found a killer idea or an easier way to do something only for it to be totally wrong or even worse dangerous??? Just something to think about. I will be waiting to hear about the tutorials and be MORE than happy to pay for them. When someone works that hard and shows such love and care about something it ought to be worth more than harsh words. I am sorry but posting such things about a loved one on a message board is wrong on so many levels. I will go back to my quiet corner and wait for Donita to let me know when she has the tutorials ready. Until then we all need to treat others how we would like to be treated
  17. Well it is really neat that this thread has started!!!! Just today I went and bought a slab with my 40% off coupon!! Never ever made a candle before inmy life....but tonight I poured 2!!!
