I have been using Just Scent JSB 50/50 wax for a few years now.... It used to be great, but I am now running into many problems with it. It must not be the same anymore - it is VERY inconsistent. Does anyone know of a good 50/50 wax or a good clean burning blend? How is Joywax? Des it burn clean? Thanks!

how much fragrance oil vs. perfumers alcohol should I use to make the base for my reed diffusers? I am using an 8 oz. botle for the diffusers.

I just looked at Peak candle supply, and they have a great price on it! BCS is twice the price. Should I get it from Peak? Is there a difference between the two?

I am now having trouble with my candle color fading. Does anyone out there know how much UV inhib. to put in the wax? I am usung a 50/50 wax (soy & parafin). HELP! My candles are fading!!! When do you add it during the candle making process? Any good brands - or any brands to stay away from?

OK... Call me crazy! I was SO inspired by everyone's stories with their FABULOUS surf & turk fryer, that I bought one. Well - it arrived today. I ripped the box open, planted it on the counter, then loaded it with wax. Next thing - FIRE! I was concerned about this, but everyone was swearing by this thing. Is there a special secret with heating the wax? When the heating element is turned on, the wax is directly on it. How do you melt the wax without it burning? The smell was gross! HELP ME! Please!

BCN has the Aroma Magic oils made especially for the reeds. I just ordered them, so I can't give you an opinion on them. I let you know! Have you heard anything else about any concoctions?

No, but I ordered reeds and sample oils yesterday. All of my friends are buying these things like crazy from retail stores! They are great! I was just wondering if anyone has been mixing the oils with perfumer's alcohol.....

Can you use the "turkey tap" to pour the wax into your pouring pot, or do you have to scoop the wax out? I see that it has a valve, but can you really use it?

Has anyone used Aroma Magic oils and reeds? Are you adding perfumers oil to the oils - if yes, what is the ratio?? Can you use any candle oils, or just the Aroma Magic oils for the reeds? Are the Aroma Magic oils strong - how strong on a scale of 1 to 10? How should these be priced? I just ordered the reeds and some sample oils.... This is all new to me. HELP, Please!!!
