  1. you got it. Lets see how many people we can get. It would be lots of fun and you can see the other persons scrappin style as well. Terri Lee
  2. Atlered journal swap.. Anyone interested in doing an altered journal swap ? This is when you sign up on the list and the person just above you on the list makes you a journal ( for B&B or Candles or personal) based on you fav. Color , basic likes and interests. So if I had to do a journal for some one who was a candle maker then in the lournal I could place testing sheets and FO lists and such. The journals can be a plain compostsition book from the dollar store that you decorate with scrapbook papers and embellishments. Here is a link for a few ideas as to what they are. http://twopeasinabucket.kaboose.com/pg.asp?gallery=1 I spoke with Melanie about this and she thought it was a good idea and that we should just put it out there to see if anyone would be interested. Thanks, Terri
  3. Junkie here as well. I have been into it for a few years now. Havent really touched any thing in about 1 year. Got burned out on teaching classes and consigning others albums. Then candle making came into the picture. I still have my studio set up but walk past it every day and think maybe I should do something one of these days. The urge has to hit me and I will get my creative juices flowing but for now I enjoy my wax. Terri
  4. I teach scrapbooking classes. The best site I have found is www.twopeasinabucket.com click on peanut gallery then you can search it will give you pages and pages of layouts. Also the easiest thing to do when making a whole album at one time (and not go nuts) is use the came color theme threw out the album. If you need any help just pm me and I would be happy to help you out. I have made many wedding albums. Hope the site helps you Terri
  5. Kimberly thank you for the directions. I will have to give this a try.
  6. Help please I am new to this whole bath and body side and would love to try this one out for myself. I live in the desert and dry up the second we leave the house. Could some one point me in the direction of some step by step instructions? I have done a search for days now and cant find any info on it. Thank you
  7. Love this new section.. I also scrapbook and scrapbook for others & teach scrapbooking classes as well.( So if any of you ladies that are scrapbook "collectors" would like to learn new stuff just let me know. Plus I like to mess around with stained glass and crochet for my hubby and boys new blankets each year. I also love to go hunting for vintage items as well and see what we can remake the item into.I must say the most fun is in the hunt for the items. Terri
  8. ok I put the glasses on and I really cant read it anyway. Plus it got wet and smeared. Will have a go at it. :sucrose, hybrid safflower, palmitate, PEG40 sorbitan, silics, tocopheral, molassas, really cant read the rest. the company is Melt. http://www.meltproducts.com/ Again thank you all for the input. Terri
  9. Thank you all for the input. I guess I will have to try other ones. I have no idea what they use in their product. Will have to put on my glasses to read it . Like I said I dont do B&B so I knew you all would have the answers.
  10. This is one I have seen...and it is soy wax Body Massage Candle - Almond $15.00 Light this candle to envelop the room with scent and begin to set the mood. Once the wax has melted, use it as a warm oil for an all over massage. Or, use the wax cold as a scented massage cream. The Body Massage Candle is a relaxing addition to any evening. Available in Almond, Chocolate Dream and Cucumber Melon scents. (6 oz)
  11. I need some input from the B&B folks over here on this side of the forum. My DH was a sweet heart abd bought me a lot of B&B for Christmas but I must say I am confused : The Sugar scrub smelled great but it dried me out so much that I had to put on lotion after I used it. Then this evening I used some of their bath salt It smelled wonderful in the package but once it hit the water there was no smell. I mean even the water smelled like normal. So my questions : Are sugar scrubs ment to dry you out ? And shouldnt bath salts keep their scent when in the water ? I think I need to find some other products to try. Thanks Terri
  12. Ok I just read the package and it doesnt say "no Metal". It does say : The candle warmer is designed to heat jar candles only. Do not use to heat food or drink. Then a bunch of other stuff about not immerseing in water. It is Candle Hearth Brand Terri
  13. Thank you all for your input. I did do a trademark search for the names as well and yes there were about 178 using the word tart. My legal given name of Terri Lee also has a trade mark to it..lol I dont think I will ever be big enough to be a threat to anybody. I just want to enjoy the craft of candle making and share the product with friends. Thank you all Terri Lee
  14. Thank you Ah-Soy I didnt really think about the Sweet Tart name so it maybe could be Terri Lee's Tarts ?
  15. Ok I need some opinions here. I started making Votives and tarts and wickless jars ( I know Im a wimp) any way I really enjoy the tarts . I want to start my business soon once I nail down the scents I would like . Here are my thoughts and plans ( please let me know what you think) My company name would be Terri Lee’s Sweet Tarts All displays will be Glass Old Fashioned Candy penny jars (10 scents) Tarts in the jars . Votives and wickless avab. If wanted The colors will be candy stripe (pink and white)( The cloth colors and labels and my apron) The table will be the old fashioned trolly cart ( hubby is a wood worker) Plus I will sell by the oz and have an old fashioned candy scale ( more for looks ) as I know my tarts are ½ oz each. For added decorations I will have old fashioned malt glasses filled with hard candy and stuff. I plan on doing home parties to start. What do you think ? Too much , too little, goofy? Any other ideas. Thanks for your help Terri Lee
