    I am an event coordinator specializing in elopements and destination events. We are located on a beautiful island and these events are geared towards providing small groups of family/friends with a more adventurous way of celebrating their events. Because the groups are small and the goal is to create a fantasy world for them, we are able to get more elaborate with our decor. I've come here to develop creative candle making skills and ideas to use in these situations.

    Hi all. I am a beginner attempting to make candles using driftwood containers. My husband and I have found good driftwood pieces and chised nice little openings in them, ready for wax. The only problem is that since these are wood, I can't help but worry about their flammability. Has anyone ever made these before? Are they safe? Do they need to be treated in some way first? Thank you so much for you help!!!
