  1. Yes, Xtina! Along those lines....

I hope this is ok to post here--

As some of you know, I am a wedding planner. I have a show on iTunes, and I'm trying to wrap up this week's show which is about personalizing your wedding.

At any rate, I'm looking for a vendor to promote for candle favors-- they can be votives, tins, etc. The only thing that I'm looking for is for them to be comprable or less than those sold by Yankee or Illuminations. I'm looking for something that is custom made, but still has that personalized, handmade effect, if that makes any sense. Also, if you make personalized b&b, contact me as well, as those would make good BM gifts.

I cannot possibly handle the extra workload. I don't want or need any samples-- just a little background....questions I will ask off the public forum.

    TIA

  2. Here's what I have:

    10% e-wax

    8% stearic

    14% butters

    1% cetyl

    2% FO

    1% phenonip

    1.5 oz sugar

Someone, and for the life of me sent me this one: Thank you!! I cannot remember your name, but this was a great recipe!

    25% butters

    60% oils

    6% cetyl

    6% e-wax

    2% FO

    1% Preserve

Soften butters and whip with the oils. Melt cetyl and ewax. Let cool and drizzle over butter and whip. Add Preserve, FO and sugar.

I also just made one with FBB, mango oil, shea butter and some other oils and was SO impressed. It looked just like the strawberry cool whip in the commercials! LOL once I colored it pink, of course!

    HTH

  3. You know, the ten dollar minimum was a bit of a hassle, but my thinking was that with their inexpensive prices I could get a little of everything. I had heard that their FOs are substandard at best, so I tried to pick things I would have use for. I was more than willing to pay the extra .70 to make up the difference (Clutch the pearls!), but it wasn't until about a week later until I finally got some "assistance". The customer service was just horrible-- to the point where it got personal and whoever she is let out some catty remarks. Like I said, it was and forever will be my absolute pleasure to NEVER spend one red cent on anything they sell.

  4. I had a bad customer service experience with them-- even though I had initially set up to buy a lot of my supplies through them, I found others. When I finally did make my purchase, I erred in that there is a minimum payment of $10 in order for them to accept paypal (this was an ebay purchase). My purchase was over $10, but only with shipping. I swear, my subtotal was literally like 9.30. I tried to work around it on my own and paid an extra .70 for my items plus shipping, but they kept refusing it. Finally I got a hold of someone and explained my situation and she said that she could invoice me...never did. I really needed the items, so I was willing to pay the "extra"-- where as sending a money order was too cumbersome (just had surgery), and western union online payment was out of the question (outrageous fees). There was a lot of back and forth and I was essentially told to never buy from them again.

Told her it would be my pleasure to never drop a dime.:yay:
