  1. i didnt have the problem either until it got colder & we have an unheated basement. I dont have problems with the 8oz jars just the 16.

We had to try new wax & jars due to lack of supply!. we went to igi 9798 & premium apothecary jars . the pours were nice for a month or two , now we are getting a large crack. we tried every temp to pour,heated the jars, we put them into boxes lid open, lid closed. everyone has a crack,some have a hole down the middle. we also add petro, 1 tbl. spoon per #. we pour in a cooler basement & live in PA. ?????? Thanks

  4. I Had To Switch To A New Wax Due To Problems. I Went To Igi's 6098 Victory Blend But The Throw Is Not As Good As My Other Pariffin/soy Wax. I Use 1.5 Oz Of Fo To 1 #. Any Ideas For A Good Additive? maybe Petro? thank You!!
  5. I Also Had Problems With 1275 . I Had White Spots All Over The Jar. I Went Thru 400 Lbs With No Problems & Then The Last 2 Cases Where Bad.i Tossed A Bunch Of Jars . I Switched To Igi 6098 & The Pours Are Great.but I Am Having A Problem With Throw, Not As Goos As The 1275 ?

Ok i didnt explain myself correctly. i am not new just new to selling . & now that i have to sell in bulk i am finding some things working different & need to move towards what is easier to do with bulk. We have tesed everything we make. Belive me i have stunk the whole town up testing & testing & testing. Our buisness has just received it s- corp. status & we are trying to move in the right direction to become a little larger. i am sorry for misrepresenting , i just thought i could get some info & save a little time.   12. I am using block color now but i find it hard to be consistant with the color. i see color chips. ARe they any good? if so where is a good place to get them. what is good to use to get the same color ( or close ) each time. i am getting pretty busy & i need a quick & easy way . Thank you
  13. we jast started making a few weeks ago , but it has gotten crazy . i have had 2 org. contact me about fundraisers & i have a bunch of orders just on word of mouth. so we are just trying to keep things going & not spread ourselves thin . but it's fun ( so far) . this site & everyone on here has been a huge help !

  16. i'm not joking , i made dozens so far with not one wet spot. i keep my fingers crossed & heat them with a heat gun. a high powered gunin each jar for about 10 seconds & it's ready.
  17. i have just started making but we heat our jars & so far i have never had a wet spot 7 i never have had to do a repour. so i will stay with heating.

  19. I just started in this venture. Heres the scoop ! Everything i have was bought from Candles & supplies , Quakertown , Pa. i have 16oz apothecary elevation/terrace jars. 4"h X 4" w. The wax is there production blend for containers , WAX-1275 paraffin/soy blend. i have tried the following Heinz coreless wicks ,CD-18 ,20 & 22. the problem is when i test burn they all left about 1/4" of wax on the sides of the jar. the ones i made so far have a vannila flower scent & i used block color. all from candles & supplies. The pour looks really nice with no wet spots & no repour needed . Just need wick help. If i keep spending my wife will shoot. Thank you
