where do you get your scent from?? Can you give me some insite on the hidden fee's?

so to my understanding it's cheaper to pay the more expencive Canadian prices then it is to have cheaper goods shipped to me from the US?

I have been comparing the cost for FO's in Canada to those in the US and and am having trouble figuring out which is cheaper. 4oz from Candlewic is about $6.99 US and here in Canada it's about $11.00 with the exchange rate that's about $9.95 so it's ovious which is cheaper. My question is this.... I was told that shiping is $20.00 dollars for my order either place I got it. I also was just told that there are fee's when shipping from the US to Canada. Does anyone know anything about these fees?? And with all this info ( I hope I made sence) is it cheaper to get my scents from the US or Canada. Sorry for the stupid question.... this has got me all confused with fee's an shipping and exchange rates ect...

where in Canada (ontario) Can I get a presto pot? How much do they normally sell for?

I am using CBL-125 container wax from Candle wic and making 6oz and 12 oz jars. Any wic tips? I'm just starting so I'm not sure where I should start to test? any tips would be great. Thanks so much Draggy Would $4.00 be asking to much for the 6oz candle it's in a glass jar with a glass lid. Not sure what to charge for the 12 oz.

Can anyone give me some advice on candian suppliers? I am in ontario. I want to get a kit but I am worried about shipping costs?

sorry like I said really new.... I got the wax from my craft store it didn't have a lable on it the jars I am using are 8oz mason and 12oz square glass jars to be honest not sure the size of the wic I can't find where I put the package at the moment

also I glue gun my wics to the the bottom of my jars and try to eye ball my votives

why not cool in the freezer the air bubbles go away and the candle looks good when I take it out of the mold? I am using parrafin wax and those color chips you get. I got them off e-bay. I used candle wiz scent and yaley pre-tabbed wics for my votives. I also used pre-waxed yaley wiccing for my jars.

hello all I have been "trying" to mkae candles for about 2 months and I am having all kinds of problems. any advice would be great. Here are the problems I am having. 1. no hot throw and very little cold throw 2. if I allow my candles to cool at room temperature they have air bubbles (so I cool them in the freezer and the air bubbles seem to go away) 3. keeping my wic centered 4. getting the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the jar I make votives and 8oz and 12oz jar candles I have been reading thei forum for about 3 months now and have found it has helped alot. Just can't seem to figure out where I am going wrong

I;m just outside of ottawa and 1 hour from montreal. I want to make jar candles and votives right now. I started with Yaley but quickly discoverd that the color works well but the scent sure doesn't!!! Any tips on where I can get good scents from? I was thinking of tryin Candlewic? Canwax seems exspensive when it comes to shipping.
