  1. Hello, I joined some fb candle groups a couple years ago. They can make me feel down because I see others making 464 or 444 candles with smooth tops and no problems. I always have sink holes lurking below and I have learned to just poke holes and double pour to be safe. However, are these fb people right? Can you achieve smooth, sinkhole free candles that you are confident to sell with 464 or 444? I also asked in a group if anyone who used soy only had switched to a paraffin blend & what was their experience with customers, but I just got links to soy-paraffin blends and someone saying they never have 464 issues😞. Thanks for this post. I can get some of my frustrations out:)
  2. What's your name? Andrea How old are you? 36 Where do you live? Arizona How long have you been making candles/soap/whatever? Since 2019, for fun sometimes since 2018 How did you get started making candles/soap/whatever? I made candles as favors for my 1st baby shower Are you married? Any kids? Yes, 2. They are 3 and 1yrs old. If candle/Soap making isn't your primary job, what do you do? I work in Theatre and Events. That has been on hold due to the pandemic, but it looks like it's slowly coming back. In the meantime, I've been a stay at home mom and worked out fine. I got to focus more on my candles. Anything else we should know? I've only dabbled in soy wax, specifically 444. Looking to learn more. AZ summers are hot, so I'm planning to just experiment and learn more vs selling. Thanks for the helpful info!
