  1. I soaped it. It's horrible. Immediately seized. I really wish this company would list how their fragrances react in various usages on their website. My friend bought from them and most of the fragrances she bought seized. She won't buy from them again because they don't list any information. Up to this point, I've had better luck but, I've taken my chances. Won't make that mistake again.
  2. Has anyone soaped Berries and Lilies from Fragrance and Craft Supply also known as sock monkey on the boards? I've gotten a couple fragrances from her and some work great and others like Apricot seize like the dickens. Before I soap it, I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with it?
  3. I need a FO supplier with Phalate free FOs and that has an option to print out a gift certificate.
  4. Well, she went ahead and soaped. Clementine took forever to trace and Wild Sage accelerated but, she stirred by hand and was able to handle it.
  5. Quick help please!!! I have bought fragrance oils from Fragrance and Craft Supply (Sockmonkey) in the past and haven't had any problem. But, I just bought some Ginger Flower and it seized immediately. I'm a pretty experienced soaper so, I made a few adjustments, lessened my water discount, soaped cooler etc.... and the same thing - immediate seize. Will NEVER soap that one again. A friend bought some fragrances at the same time - Pink Sugar, Wild Sage, Clementine Blast, Lavender Vanilla and Autumn Jubilee. She just soaped Pink Sugar and it seized immediately. She's got Wild Sage and Clementine mixed and ready to go but, she's scared. I don't know what to tell her. I've always had great luck with sockmonkey's oils but, I'm scared too. I can't find any reviews of these fragrance oils. Does anyone have any experience with Wild Sage, Clementine Blast, Lavender Vanilla or Autumn Jubilee?
  6. I would be happy to do a co-op - I just have absolutely no idea how to go about finding someone to dupe it?
  7. Scented - I really, really want it! I'm so jealous you still have a bottle. SYR - that would be fantastic! I'd buy tons. I don't even sell anymore but, I make it for gifts and other special projects - my mom is involved in some organizations and she uses my soap as gifts so I make several logs for her each year. Every single person wants Silent Night. And now I'm out How do we go about finding someone to dupe it?
  8. Hmm, that sounds fabulous! I'll have to try to find a sniffie. Anyone else have any suggestions?
  9. Here is the bubbles N lights description: Take a sniff and you instantly feel the calm stillness of a frigid winter evening. Soft floral topnotes with woody resinous bottom notes of sandalwood, amber and musk ending with a honeylike sweetness. This one is so good, you'll want to carry it all year long!
  10. Bubble N Light's Silent Night has long been a favorite around here. I bought all I could find and now I'm out I've contacted Bitter Creek and they don't have it and aren't planning on selling it. Has anyone found a dupe? Or is there anything similar out there?
  11. It's beautiful! Hope we get to see it cut
  12. Whatever you do, get one that has a power cord rather than just batteries. I blew through batteries with my old scale and love my new KD7000 with the power cord. Also, if you get one from Old Will knot, I know some people have had issue with the response time with the scale. You can adjust this. Make sure you read the information that comes with the scale.
  13. I would never buy something called Hillbilly Home Brew. To me, it boarders on offensive. But, I don't like suggestive names - Sex on the Beach, Lick me all over etc... I prefer earthy, natural or classy names and those to me just don't jive with that image. Now Appleberry Oak is very appealing to me. It screams warmth, comfort, natural, earthy - all the things I want in a skin care product.
  14. I made mine in word. If you send me your email addy, I'll send you mine which you can adjust to fit your needs.
  15. You can do it if you want to - are you trying to avoid ash?
  16. Rinsing and canola in your recipe both produce a super shiny bar!
