    Do you find Problend 600 to be picky with scents? I’m just shocked that I can get a better hot throw from my 464 with a lot scents at 8% than I can with the Problend 600.

    Thanks, I appreciate the feedback !! Maybe my expectations as far as the scent throw are too high. I had good hot throw with Apple Harvest from Candlescience at 8%. It just seems like there are quite a few that I have tried that don’t seem to throw real well. I know Problend 600 doesn’t throw as well as 6006, but it’s so much easier to work with in my opinion.

    I know Problend 600 can be picky about the fragrances you use. I have found that I need to use between 9-10% fragrance to get what I would consider a good hot throw. For those of you that have a lot of experience with this wax, how much fragrance do you have to typically use?

    Midwest Fragrance has a really good Sweater Weather dupe. All of the other oils that I’ve tried from them have been really good too.

    I tested a bakery scent in pro blend 600 in an 8 oz jelly jar with 8% fo and an eco 2 wick. After one week it had a great melt pool, excellent scent throw. The only issue was that it started sooting slightly. Will a longer cure time take care of sooting issues? I did try a cd 6 in another jar and it didn’t soot, but didn’t seem like it had the scent throw that the eco 2 had.

    Used 8% in GW494 for wax melts. Great scent throw.

    The lowest price that I've found for liability is $750 a year. That seems high to me, but maybe I'm just being unreasonable.

    Business insurance 2021. Anyone have any insurance companies they would recommend for liability for a candle business? So far the only one I have found is Nationwide and they seemed a little high.

    I'm starting to test Pro Blend 600. I have tried htp wicks and they are ok, but was wondering if anyone else who knows this wax very well has a favorite type of wick they like to use?

    Wax: 6006 Wick: .03 crackling wood wick (.375) wide FO: 7.5% Container: 8oz glass jar/ 2.25 diameter CT: 8/10 HT: 8/10 Had good hot throw after one week, but was better after a few weeks.

    I don't have a caramel or a vanilla. That sounds like a good one to try in the future !!

    I have mixed the Coffee House with Birthday Cake from Flaming Candle to make Vanilla Coffee and people really like it.

    Nature's Garden has Like A Boss fragrance oil that is supposed to be a dupe. Haven't tried it yet so I'm not sure how close it really is.

    Has anyone tried Cashmere Cedar in IGI 6006?

    Wooden Wick Co has ceramic beads that can be scented and then put in the warmers. I bought some and will be testing them out later this week.
