  1. Does any one know where to find really nice tealight boxes/containers that can hold 12 tealights? Thanks for all your help!
  2. Hello, I had my first street fair in NYC. I don't know if any of you are familiar with it but you sell your items on the street in a closed of area. They are very popular here. Everything went well. I made some money (not alot). I have another one coming up end of August. I am excited about that one. I have been going to street fairs ever since I was little and this is the first time as a seller. I learned alot from doing the first one and I can only hope the next one is even better. Noone sells candles at any of them I was the first one. Just wanted to share my story and say hello. Haven't posted anything in awhile. Hope everyone is having a good summer.
  3. I've done lavendar and sage and people love it.
  4. You can't pour them as hot as you would othe types of candles. I let my wax cool down to between 150 - 160 before pouring and it's worked well.
  5. What does WYW stand for not sure who you talking about?
  6. You can try this site. I use them and they have alot of different things. http://www.papermart.com/Pages/hello.htm
  7. Mine do the same thing. I take my small torch and remelt the wax while still in the mold so that it fills the holes. They are usually not that big so they fill up nicely.
  8. I use Palm TP Stearic as my only additive. It really does help improve burn time and mold release. I like it too because it has no animal ingredients.
  9. I have been doing testing candles for awhile. I have not started selling them but the amount of deliveries I receive now is crazy just for testing. Luckly though I do live in a building that this is the only apartment in.
  10. I have been reading about starting a business and does anyone have any advise on where to start. I make candles out of my home and wanted to start small.
  11. I've done mixtures between (rose, sage, and jasmine) (orange, ginger, and grapefruit) (lemon, grapefruit, ylang and amber) Hope these can give you some ideas.
  12. I saw the candles they offer and I have one in my house. It was a gift. I pay for luxury items all the time and I am not rich. You just have to create a product that really does what it says and looks good. I won't buy evevrything that costs alot but it is always nice to own some of those 500$ bags and shoes and dress and even candles.
  13. I live in NY. I have checked out a couple different sites but the prices seem to be more. I will check it out!
  14. I have recently started making candles. I have only ordered from candlewic. Is there any other sites that are more cost affective?
