hi..so I was thinking about those little pine incense sticks that you can burn in the log cabin, I just love that smell.It doesn't smell like any other pine smell that I have ever smelled. So I looked it up and it says its balsam ..I have ordered a few pine scents and woodland scents but i don't think just a balsam . Does anyone know if a balsam fo smells like that..Thanks

I will give that a try..I have a lot of 464 so I might as well try to make tart wax because I don't think I'm going to make candles with it anymore. I looked at the candles I made from 3 months ago and longer and I was very disappointed. They were dry looking, frosted and some had brown spots and these were the candles that came out just about perfect. My lovely soy has let me down I just have to admit it lol.. Thanks💐

So I was just wondering if I mixed 464 and a paraffin together would it be firm enough to get out of molds or clamshell molds? I know i can experiment, but I don't want to order paraffin (shipping is so expensive) unless it might work. Thanks💐

I love cedar sage and blackberry from rustic escentuals and harvest moon from indigo is really nice, (pear, blueberries, with notes of cedar, juniper berries, white musk, fir, spruce and pineapple) i pick up the pear and blueberry first ..

I'm no pro but soy is pretty soft so maybe less paraffin or try to cut it when its still a little soft -

Is it safe to make a candle in a glass votive holder instead of using a votive candle? Thanks

I think I'm loosing my love for soy 464. I have tried so many fo's and the lack of a great HT is driving me crazy, and I let them cure for at least 2 weeks if not more. Are all brands of soy treated equally in the HT category? Do some throw better than others or over all basically the same?

That's a really good idea..I would have never of thought of that. My bathroom is small so perfect place to test, doesn't take much to get steamy in there lol💐

When you store your melts, how do you keep the melts from smelling like the others? All my other scents smell like coffee now.

I think I'm using good bags but the wax melts seem to rub off on the inside of the bags a little bit. Does that happen? or is it just me lol...

Does all tart wax cool quickly? Is there a certain one that doesn't? .. As I pour its sludging up against the side of the pot..
