  1. Thank you everyone for your replies and feedback. I love this group and have been doing a lot of reading and research. I hope everyone has a great day.
  2. Other than the rubber dropper being eaten away from the dye and so forth, I never had any trouble with Bittercreek dyes other than user error. You know when you dump it and it makes a mess. I never had any complaints or noticed a smell in my final product. I only used a small amount per lb say 4 drops usually max. I accepted the lighter colors and never tried for the bolder colder with liquid dye in soy. For red I always used cinnamon red dye chips or the red powder from Bittercreek.
  3. I did not like the Lemon Pound Cake from Flaming when I tested it a few years back. It smelled "weird" to my nose once it hit the wax and never made it in the candle but made it in the trash. I could not even bear to test it. As far as Fragrance Buddy - I have a sample but have yet to place it in wax. I always enjoyed KY's Lemon PoundCake which is now found at Rustic Essentials or Bittercreek's Lemon Pound Cake. I love the KY Candle oils that they carry.
  4. I have been out of the candle making scene for some time due to family illnesses and obligations. Well here I am ready to start again. Without thinking too much, I ordered a 10lb bag of EZSoy since that is what I enjoyed the most previously with decent results, and was charged $22 plus to ship it. I am close to Fillmore Container/Candles and Supplies and Candlewic. To ship a 50 lb box of EZSpu it is $67 that I priced today. YIKES. As broken hearted as I am, since I know that they have this formulation made specifically for them, I am going to have to take another route. Believe me, I have considered making it worth my while and driving to WI to pick up wax and just swallowing my funds and pride and just paying the shipping for EZ Soy but I just cannot do it. In the past I have tested 415 and C3. I had better luck with 415 than the c3 but will consider testing it again. Has anyone else stopped using EZSoy for this very reason?
