The wax I've been testing in this thread and the pics of my melts were all with the GW for Wax and Melts.

Not as organized but for the ones I have I used a desk organizer that spins.

Just checking in, I melted my first run with this wax. It was using 12% FO in Sugar Cookie from thecandlesource and although I wasn't feeling confident since the CT wasn't overwhelming, I can say that the HT lit up my room nicely and lasted about 30 hours for one of the large fancy hearts. I left it go until all I smelled was wax. I've been testing the Ecosoya PB along with it to see which I like better.

I'm not even 100% sure what is going on here but this is amazingly cool. I assume you're rotating your candles under the heat to smooth the tops right? Genius!

I want the 2 or 3 ounce portion cups but I want them to be the low profile ones that are wider than they are tall so I can fit my little toppings on them. The normal everyday shaped ones are too narrow at the top for what I'm wanting to do. That's why the ones in the first pic and the ebay link I posted look perfect.

The Solo are definitely not it, look at the lids. Plus that's only 1.5oz and the seller states the melts are 2oz so the cups have to be at least that.

I've tried Amazon, Ebay, all the suppliers. Nothing. The seller of these melts is in the UK so I'm wondering if maybe they get them locally. I'm still surprised Ebay had nothing. I searched "portion cups", "chutney cups" and "souffle cups" on Ebay UK too and nothing. I'm baffled!

They are not like normal portion cups. They are wider and more shallow and the lids are much nicer. These hold around 2oz I think.

Would aluminum foil covering a #5 work? I can't find one large enough that I have a lid for! The others will be here Monday afternoon.

I have some on the way. I was just wondering what to do with it in the interim. It's just sitting in the pan on my counter. Can it sit like that for 2 days? I never let things sit out in the air that long. It smells amazing so I think the only thing was the pan.

I searched the forum and I found a lot of good info but nothing that fits my exact situation so please forgive if I missed it. I made a batch of bark melts and part of the very large pan was so thin it didn't want to remove and I ended up having to scrape the wax out so about 1/4th of my batch is unusable as is. I thought about selling as crumbles since I can't just melt it down and mix it with something else (it's 2 colors layered). My question is, what can I put this pile of wax until I get large enough containers to sell as crumbles. My little 2oz cups aren't going to work and bagging it is really messy and visually unappealing. Right now it's still sitting on the pan but I can't just leave it there for days. I know plastics like tupperware will suck the scent out so I'm looking around like what else do I have??? Suggestions?? Please!

I think this is the same as what candlescience just has listed as GW for Tars and Melts right? I've done a couple of batches with it and it unmolds like a dream but yeah there are some frosting on it. Funny enough even though it says the pour temp is 160 by the time I get to my last mold it's far below that and almost a slush and those are a bit bumpy but never frosted. I haven't yet figured out the perfect solution. I have had better luck with the Ecosoya PB not frosting so you may want to try that as well.
