1. I got a box of it a few years ago, for the same reason, from Sam's club. Not sure if they still have it, but it was way cheaper then buying it by the yard. I had at least half of it left over too. HTH... Karen
2. Good luck with that! LOL...I'm always looking at that catalog figuring out what I NEED to order.
3. Those are all I use for my round molds. LOVE them! They can be difficult to get out though. I have poked a tiny hole in the bottom just to get air in there & then reused it by putting tape over the hole. I usually have plenty to throw them out after a few used though. Good luck!!!!
4. P.S. Thank you so much for all the kind reviews! You're all so nice.
5. I'm so irritated. I posted the other day how I made this & it never showed up. It was right before CT went down. sigh.... Anyway, I'll try again. Okay, this is MP & the colored layers are clear MP that I shredded with a cheese grater into a ziploc & then colored with neon mica. It was so hot the day I made this that my shreds were almost melted without any help, so I poured the first white layer & let it set up enough to layer the colors on. I sprayed with alcohol & sprinkled the shreds for each colored layer. I then pressed the colored shreds with the bottom of a sqare glass to make them all squish together. Then came more spray & then the last white layer. Whew... When I unmolded the soap I kinda knew it was wishful thinking that they were gonna stay together. I put the wooden mold on top of the soap log & then put 2 bowling balls on top of the mold to see if I could REALLY squish them together. They stay together...until you get them wet. Stay tuned for follow up pictures of my rebatch. I'm trying to think of something cool to do with those bright colors. Thanks for listening to me babble.... Karen
6. Welp, I haven't made any soap for months now. I felt the need to do some yesterday & here's what I came up with. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to cut it up in use it in other soaps because the way I did it was wrong (the layers may not stick together) but I thought it looked cool none the less.
7. and since when is camo supposed to be pretty??? LOL I love your soap though. It's not your typical camo.
8. Hey! I have a request for a candle that smells like a cedar closet. Any suggestions? I haven't tried any cedar fo so I'm clueless. Does Peak's smell like a cedar closet? Thanks in advance!! Karen:D
9. Hey there! Chiming in here....I have used their FO's. I thought they were great. The only complaint that I had was that I didn't like a fragrance or two, but that's true of any supplier. They're oils aren't "thick" but I felt that the scent was very much comparable to any other supplier I've tried. JMHO
10. I KNEW you would be!!! Woohoo! Looks awesome. Love the curls.
11. Love, love, love them!!! So pretty.
12. Welp, I had some left-overs from an order I just completed, so I chopped them all up & came up with this for another customer request. I thought it turned out pretty cool. It's scented peppermint. (not what I would want to bathe with, but hey...to each his own lol)
13. Wow! Those look awesome. Definately something I could see selling in a boutique. Great job!
14. Thanks everyone for the kind words! I love to make this stuff & when others think it's cool too, it's like a bonus. lol Thanks again... Karen
15. Well, that's not a very good picture. I'll see if I can get a better one. Stay tuned...
16. Well, I'm trying to get outta my "curl" rut. LOL So, I made some holiday soap today with chunks. It's scented "I'll Be Home For Christmas" from Daystar. Here it is....
17. I got mine awhile ago & wasn't gonna post until I got to use some of everything. lol Well, that hasn't happened yet, but I wanted to let everyone know how awesome everything is!! Haven't felt or sniffed anything that I didn't like yet. Thanks again!!! Karen
18. You could also fill a large lotion bottle with a pump and pump those little bottles full. Course that would be a lot of pumpin'. I don't think it would make a huge mess though. I personally like the ketchup bottle suggestion. Good luck!!
19. I like to think of it as a spa treatment for the bear. Hot wax massage or something like that.
20. I got my mica from www.betweenfriendstoo.com Their micas are awesome. Karen
