  1. Thanks for the input. I'm definitely going to have to give that tobacco a go.

    Cure time

When I poured them, they were all completely solid within 24 hours. It seems to be a lot different from my GW 464. The melt point is about 30* higher.

Could anyone tell me the cure time of GW melt and tart?

  5. Trial and error, right? What would you say my melt pool should be after an hour or two? When I do finally get to test.
  6. I know I have to wait, but it's very hard to do so. I'm ready to mix other scents together, and melt more wax. Oh well.
  7. It's not so soft that I couldn't touch it, but soft enough that I can push a dent in the wax if I apply a reasonable amount of pressure. My candles have fragrance oils, where my first wick test did not. The first test solidified to the point of not being able to put a dent in the wax. I've just not made it there in my fragrance candle yet. Hope that makes sense.
  8. I did a little testing with six different sizes in that series. Pan of was and six wicks. I made my choices based on diameter of the melt pool. Just a rough test to have and idea.
  9. I'm very excited, , but I'm not real sure of the cure time. They're still very soft. At least they are in the 8oz. In not sure about the 2oz.
  10. I'm testing out CSN wicks. I have two 7 and 9 in my 2oz. I've also poured two 8oz. A 22 and 26 went into them. I used GW 464 and is been a one pour so far. Thank you.
  11. I'm still very new to all of this, and am not familiar with a lot of suppliers. What's RE? I'll definitely keep that one in mind. That was more of the scent I was after anyway. As far as the Brandy Pear. How much of a fruity scent does that have? I completely missed the Golden Rum in my search. I'll definitely have to give that one a look. Thank you.
  12. Did my first test burn today for 3 hours. How long should I wait to do a second test burn, and how many should I do?
  13. I've looked around with no luck. If only. It could be the start of an excellent spring scent.
  14. Long shot I'm sure, but does any supplier carry the scent and sticks around after a rain? Petrichor
