  1. I was wondering if those of you who have tried selling candles without lids and with them, do customers seem to favor lidded candles significantly more? I'm wondering because my husband and I are just getting everything ordered and set up (we started a couple months ago but took a break until our baby was born) and I was wondering how much having lids should weigh on our jar decisions. If you don't use lids do you use plastic lids or dust covers? Do customers ever comment on a lack of lid? Personally we love the Libbey rock glasses and the 22oz cylinder jar, neither of which have lids available. Any insight is extremely appreciated!
  2. Yea, I understand. These were the only ones I could find even in any size. I'm having a hard time finding metal lids for anything really. I know the B&B jars well as they are a favorite look of mine as well. Does that mean you know of other sizes with metal lids that aren't the B&B size? if so would you mind messaging them to me? I don't want to clutter up her thread in case someone else has a lead on the larger ones.
  3. I found these on candle science, but they are smaller than the B&B jars and there are no other sizes that are in the same "collection". I don't know how bad the shipping is compared to other suppliers and jars, my husband usually deals with that and we are just getting started so we're still testing the waters a bit. I've spent way too many hours looking for metal lids so if anyone does come across other options please let me know! 4. Thank you so much for having me here! I've learned so much already. One thing I haven't seen much on but thought about when I saw a recent post about selling online was getting started selling in person at craft shows and the likes. It seems like that's how many people sell their product and I was wondering if there are any good resources on how to break into that world and if there are other places besides craft shows that people find success. Thanks for all of your help and patience!f
  5. Hi! I'm brand new here and actually found this site in an attempt to solve a quandary I'm having. I'm trying to locate metal lids that fit the Libbey 11 oz Libbey Rock Tumblers. I found a couple really old topics but they have all been archived with no definitive answers and were from years ago. I'm hoping there has been some updates since then. Alternatively I'd be open to any suggestions on similar looking jars that have lids that will work, or straight sided glassware that metal lids somewhere will fit. I appreciate all of your help!!
