  1. Hi everyone. I just thought I'd put the word out there for all you FOHO's....I just ordered a sample pack from a new supplier called Shey Candle LLC. They only have ten scents so far as they're just starting up.Ordered last night and they've already shipped out!

I just picked up 2lbs of the 133 last week to play with, but I haven't had time to do anything with it yet.

I hope it does ok with HTPs! I also have some Premiers, but not a lot of sizes.

hi sarah....just wondering what you thought of the 133?

  3. fireside, mostly cd and cdn in the 130 wax. Also lx but let me say that these worked great in a nine oz hex jar except for the really heavy scents and they never mushroomed in that jar but when I threw them in a 4 oz jelly.....mushrooms galore...still trying to figure that one out...hmmm🤔

  4. well.....they look good and smell great and the wicking is giving me a migraine...lol...still a contender although i've put them on the back burner for now. yup...i'm back to messin with straight paraffin again...in the back of my mind i guess im just wondering if i really even trust soy in any blend. I'll get my wicking down right and then BAM...the next lot will be different. Anyways...guess what? I got one of those funky batches of cbl 129 that looks like brains when it sets up. . so I've been spending the day blending it with this and that to try and get it to smooth out. I finally did 50/50 with the 125 and it did the trick!

  5. I'm currently using the 129 and I do prefer it over the 125 although the repours are a pain.....the 125 smelled too "paraffinish" to me and I didn't like the gummy consistency of it. Still haven't found the magic wick yet....I've only been testing it a couple weeks and just today decided to mix it 50/50 with gb464.....there's nothing like the cold throw of soy and maybe my wick options will open up a little....who knows?

Here is my revised wick list, it is completely accurate for 6006, in 8oz tins, on even numbered Tuesdays. But that's pretty good for candle making.

1 hr is too short IMO

typically the hour per inch for several burns is needed

    then a power burn

the type and depth of your container plays a huge part.

thank you talltayl for the info....so the reasoning is that even though one mp is smaller than another when comparing them after an hours burn....that smaller mp could catch up to and even surpass the larger one if I let it burn longer?

  8. hi forrest.....i'm assuming that you're ranking these by mp size? I just did a pan test and my results were quite surprising to me as far as mp size goes....I burned them for exactly an hour and then took measurements.....is one hr enough time to do a good comparison? Ugh...I hope so......anyways, Im beginning to wonder if different waxes put the results in a different order...kwim? Thoughts?

  9. I've been trying to figure this out forever but if I were to position those wicks  excluding the zincs which I try to avoid on my list it would go from largest to smallest...

    cd10

    premier 755

    lx 18

    cd 8

    premier 745

    Premier 740

    lx 16

    cd 6

    lx 14

To me the P 740 and 745 seemed to match up well with the cd 7 and cdn 8.
