  1. Lol... its a lily... it's actually pretty clear in person but the camera didn't pick it up well. :rolleyes2 Thanks for all the great suggestions though!
  2. Thank you so much for the great feedback! I'll keep working on it! I appreciate the help a lot!
  3. Thanks.. those are good ideas! I've played around with so many different ideas that I think I've become label-blind! I appreciate the (and any other) advice!
  4. Just throwing my name in there if you need additional testers! I think I've tried every wax on the market out there and have heard great things about sugar so I'm sure your product is wonderful! If you have enough... that's great but if you need more, I'd love to test! Good luck!
  5. Hi Everyone, I'm fairly new to Candletech but have been making tarts and some BB stuff for years. I recently switched to clamshells for my wax melts and am working on a new label. I'd love any advice/ suggestions you all may have for me! Sorry for the poor pic- the label is actually a light beige not yellowish as the pic suggests! Thanks in advance! Becki
  6. Thanks again everyone... I'll be back to let you know how it goes! One more question.. If I'm making and selling clamshell tarts only to small gift shops and salons locally... do I need a business license/ insurance? I'm clueless when it comes to the business end of things! Thanks!
  7. Thanks so much for the encouragement! That's just what I was thinking of doing... something very similar to what's been suggested here! Now I'll have to find some places willing to carry them! Hopefully soon I'll get a chance to post some pics in the gallery...Thanks again for your advice!
  8. This may seem like a silly question so my apologies in advance. But... do any of you stick to selling only tarts (or clamshells)? I've been making them for myself, friends and family for a while and am very pleased with my results. I have NO desire to get into wicking and the rest of candlemaking- (I'll leave that to all you experts! ) because I know I don't have the amount of time necessary to truly dedicate myself to a quality product! But.. I'd like to see what I can do with selling the clamshells. Any suggestions on where to start, and or if this is a bad idea? I appreciate any help from y'all.. I've learned so much here already (#1 is that I now know I know NOTHING!!! ) Thanks again, Becki
