    FO HELP!

I know there are MANY companies to pick from. I just don't know which ones are the BEST, or lets say TOP 5 or 10. I have been looking at Natures Garden. I see that they have "classes" on their website......
  2. As I was looking around to order a new wax to try, I noticed that on different sites the GOLDEN 464 went by different names. Example, on one it is listed as Golden Foods 464. On another it is Golden Brands 464, then another it is Golden Wax 464 and so on. Is this the same wax ?
  3. Hello Belinda...The para-soy doesn't have much if any of a CT. I don't like that at all, any suggestions? It also leaves waves on top of my clamshells. I am having a hard time with this. Has anyone one else had problems like this?
  4. I have been reading the remelting posts and it is wonderful! Do you have to heat it to 185 or just enough to pour it?
  5. Hello. Thanks for the responses and ideas..i also watch lots of youtube videos. LOL..I havent found any tho with donuts just everything else. I have seen pictures of "sellers" with donuts. They are sooo perfect. If i remb right, on pinterest i believe. I am new to this so forgive me if i ask too many questions. Or say something silly. I have another question. I am used to using soy wax for everything. i recently switched to ky parasoy, thought i would try it. It is alot different than what i am used to with the soy. Can or do I need to mix it with my soy? it seems too hard for a clamshell.
  6. Hello...Thank you for your reply..I am just placing them on wax paper, flat. I tried spooning it first, then it was cooling too fast. That is where it started getting clumpy as it was hitting the wax. I just used a regular spoon. Then I warmed it up a little hotter and the doughnut started to melt. ...I just don't know what I am doing wrong to try to make the doughnut glaze.
  7. Has anyone made doughnut tarts before? I am a newbie and wanting to do this. I have bought molds that are really small, less than an ounce. I didn't want the large ones. Or should I have gotten the big ones? They are halve molds. IDK if they are supposed to be this way?? I had ALOT of trouble putting the icing on the outside. It kept cooling way too fast UGH and getting clumpy. I am getting frustrated but I know there is a way to do this......any tips or tricks would be helpful...THANKS!!!!
  8. WHAT IS YOUR NAME? Hello EVERYONE!! My name is Sheila! HOW OLD ARE YOU? HHMMMM....I always hate that question. LOL..when i hit 30 i cried LOL. I thought i had it rough then NOT ...I am 45 WHERE DO YOU LIVE? I live in Missouri. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN MAKING CANDLES/ SOAPS/WHATEVER? I started around. I just toyed around with it. Then my grand son was born and I started baby sitting full time with him. I didn't have the time to do it so i had to put candle making aside. He recently moved to Texas so I decided to pick it up again. HOW DID I START MAKING CANDLES/SOAPS/WHATEVER? I started making candles because a woman I worked with had some supplies for sale. I was curious about them so I bought them. The rest is history! ARE YOU MARRIED? ANY KIDS? Yes, I am married. I have been for 10 years. I have 3 boys and 2 step daughters. I ALSO have 3 wonderful grand children!! IF CANDLE/SOAP MAKING ISN'T YOUR PRIMARY JOB, WHAT DO YOU DO? I have worked all of my life until 2012. I decided to stay at home with my youngest son. I missed out on soo much with my other children when they were growing up that I will never be able to get back. ANYTHING ELSE WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? LIKE WHAT? HHHMMMM....Not right now..... I am so excited to be learning from you and will be posting soon! I am trying to figure this out. Hoping I put my posts in the right spot. LOL
