    I am having trouble getting this jar not to smoke. All the wicks I have used are fine until half way down the jar. I have used a 44-32-18z and a LX 24 and Performa 90, 90, 100. They are seem to do the same thing. I have used several different FO. I am not sure if I got a bad box of J223 or what. I am totally lost. I am embarrased about what it is doing. Anybody have any ideas on how to fix it. I need to fill orders but I don't want these candles going out the door if they are going to do that. Thekla Thekla's Creations

    I was thinking about trying this wicks. Has anyone used them and did you like them? I am using a 13oz tumbler and I have been using the J223 with a zinc wick and I am tired of the mushrooming and the smoking. It burned good until you get down half way thru the jar. Thekla Thekla's Creations

    I couldn't find a plate that I liked to take the picture. I guess I need to take a trip to Wally World. My niece wanted a piece of it. I felt bad when I had to tell her it was a candle. Thekla

    These is something that I learned at the IGCA Convention. It was so much fun to make. I am going to test burn it later today. The test burn didn't turn out ok. I used a 51-32-18z and in about 2 hrs it made a mess. So I tried another wick and used a 44-32-18z. I am not happy with either one. I have enclosed the pics. I lite them so the pic would be better. What do u think? Did i need to keep trying or do u think it is ok? I always want everything to be perfect and I don't know when to quit sometimes. Thanks Thekla

    My daughter fell in love with my raspberry pie. She wants me to make more now. I did order some molds today. The auctions was fun. I was biding on stuff I didn't want 'cos it was so hot that I was fanning myself. My daughter loved her purse that Alice made. She put all her stuff in it that night. Thekla

    Hey candlebug, Did you make it home with all your candles. I put all mine on the table and took pictures. I started making the snowmen but I have to get some stuff for eyes. I had so much fun.
