  1. If you havent already, maybe try Bramble Berry...that's one of the biggest soap supply/blogs I know of. If you've already checked there, sorry! /:
  2. Order today and get same day shipping on dozens of wax melts! Check out our selection at www.happycrabwax.com
  3. Thank you heartsong, I will check it out!!
  4. I was in Kirkland's the other day and they had what are called scent sachets. They were basically small bags like you get plant seeds in and they had some type of pellet-like stuff inside them which was scented. I wanted to make some of these but I'm not sure what to put on the inside. do you think rice, salt or something else would work best for this type of scented project? If anyone has made these themselves I'd love to hear about it! -Rhianna and thank you so much in advance!
  5. Bless your soul for posting this lol I love lonestar...I wish they shipped flat rate though, 3 scents with this sale came to 3.50 but with $9+ shipping I ended at 14.00 for just 3 samples /:
  6. I agree with the other two on saying 15% may be waaaay too much. I usually try to keep my FO within .2-.4 oz of what my wax is. For example, if I am using 16 oz of wax, I will go somewhere between 1.2-1.4oz of FO, I haven't passed that point. It also varies because some FO's are more concentrated than others and some are more watered down, the place you buy from matters too. The 15% may make your wax cool poorly and be almost an oily texture from my experience (with soy wax). Hope you can find a nice balance and come to a resolution with your customer
  7. Good morning everyone! My name is Rhianna, I live in California and I recently started my own SOY candle and wax melt company..it is called Kai of Happiness I picked Kai because it means ocean/sea in Hawaiian and I love everything about the ocean (extreme science nerd when it comes to ocean related stuff). I decided to start this business to give myself freedom from a "regular" job and be able to travel more often. Because my business is so new, I have been trying to find more people that are interested in what I sell..I also joined this forum to learn some new tricks, tips and hacks to the wax world. Although I have pretty much mastered the small part of the wax world I am in, it never hurts to learn more about various types or other ways to do things. I chose to use soy wax because of course, it burns cleaner and isn't toxic to burn like paraffin wax..as for my candles; I use cotton wicks and pour them into tin containers which can be reused I try my best to be as eco-friendly as possible but sometimes it is very challenging when dealing with (HOT) wax!....If anyone is interested in seeing or purchasing any of my products, you can find me on instagram under "@Kaiofhappiness" and also through my website, www.kaiofhappiness.com. Thanks so much for reading this! -Rhianna
