Michaels' has a mold with 4 different massage bars- different shapes. It was for m&p and It was only $2.49!

Has anyone ever used the m&p bases from New Directions Aromatics? They have great prices, but I want to see if it's worth the $. Thanks!

so i haven't actually made any yet, but with m&p... if i put it into a loaf pan, when do i cut it? will it be too hard at the end (when it cools)?

so I tried the olive oil- I wasn't able to find cocoa butter (and impatient me couldn't wait) I modified a recipe I found online- 4 parts olive oil 3 parts beeswax 1 part honey vitamin E Flavour oils/ Essential oils (to 1/2 I added tea tree and lemon; to the other 1/2 I added vanilla and apple) Also to 1 batch I didn't add the honey, but added 8 choc. chips. and peppermint So far, so good. They are a bit waxy, but not bad for a first try.

would olive oil work instead of the almond?

so i want to make soaps with the melt and pour glycerine etc... can i use pans, muffin tins etc. for molds (many different shapes, and i already have them) or do i have to buy ones that are especially for soaps??
