  1. Can these be used on tart warmers, like the ones from Colonial Tin or Jackel? Pam
  2. With a sole prop. you will get a tax id number. When paying taxes, you will have to pay 6% on everything you sell. If you buy something for $10.00 and sell if for 15.00, you will pay taxes on the 15.00. HTH, Pam
  3. I started out with 1/2 oz of Vanilla Velvet, 2oz of beads. After four days I added 1 tablespoon of beads to the 2oz. I suggest, just adding a little at a time. If it does not absorb by the next day, add a little more until it is absorbed. Which Vanilla did you use? Pam
  4. Hi, I use BCN Vanilla Velvet and WSP beads, after 4 days with the beads not soaking, I added another tablespoon of beads (1/2 FO/2 oz 1 tbspn beads total) they appeared to have absorbed it all overnight. Pam
  5. I buy mine at Wal Mart in the bridal section. I don't remember the size, I think they are $3.9something for 10. They are the perfect size to hold 1oz with some room left over. HTH, Pam
  6. My hubby was wanting one for his truck out of coconut. I used coconut from BCN. Now I can not stand to smell it in anything. YUCK YUCK YUCK So I wouldn't recommend coconut. Pam
  7. I had planned to use my empty spaghetti sauce jars, etc to mix my beads but I could not get the smell of the sauce out of my jars. Until I find something better, I mix in an 8oz mason, leave them in those jars for display with a sign for pricing per oz with a sachet bag. When I first mixed one around the first of January, I put it in a sachet bag then put it in a ziplock brand freezer bag, that wasn't a good idea. I gave it to my hubby to use in his truck a couple of weeks ago, he has problems smelling so he can't tell that most of the smell was gone. From the beads, that is. The baggie smelled just wonderful. Looking forward to more great ideas! Pam
  8. Which supplier do you use for your Strawberries and Champagne? I purchased mine from CandleChem. To quote my favorite (and only :smiley2: ) nephew "Stwawbuwy is my pavrut" Pam
  9. I was thinking, 'Where is the Strawberries?' To me it has a floral scent. I am still trying to figure out the flower that is smells like, is it Tuberose? Pam
  10. Hi all, I have been a lurking around for a while, have a question now that I just have to ask. 2 weeks ago I made a 4oz smelly jelly, it only smells when I put it under my nose. Any suggestions, I will appreciate. I used: 3oz distilled water 1/2 tsp crystals 1 tsp Angel wings FO 1 drop of blue dye put it in a 4oz baby food jar I was wanting to experiment before moving on to bigger sizes. Thanks, Pam
