  1. I think those are very nice!
  2. Very, very nice. Awhile back I both some margarita glasses and made - yes - you got it - margaritaville candles. Turned out really good. Next I'll try the wine glasses since those are so pretty!
  3. I use the Hurricane/embed wax 1260 and it works great. Don't add a thing.
  4. Those are beautiful. Very jealous
  5. Those are very pretty!!! I agree with you about that hold-a-mold - they are a hazard. I had one end come slip off the bottom once when I was taking the mold out of the waterbath. Needless to say, that cane didn't make it. I made a little hammock type thing with a piece of canvas I had and then put a weight on top. That worked better. I'll try the gloves the next time and see how that works.
  6. Has anyone tried scents from Candlescience - and if so, how are they, comparied to LoneStar scents? They are having a great sale but if they aren't any good I don't want to buy. Thanks for your input! Marye
  7. People gotta love them - they are beautiful
  8. That is beautiful. How did you get that affect?
  9. Very nice. I bought roses, vase and the water like fluid but haven't done it yet. Always a little scarey trying something new. I did try the bears but the fur didn't pick out real good. You did a very nice job on that bear. And the flowers.
  10. They look so cool and refreshing. Very nice
  11. Those are beautiful - the candels, packaging, the works.
  12. You would never know that they are re-dos. Very nice
  13. Well, I know it works with panty hose - store them in the freezer until you need to wear them and they seem to hold up longer - but have not heard anything about freezing candles.
  14. Very nice, candles and jars - the whole thing!
  15. Those are very nice. Love the frosted ones:tongue2:
  16. They look great to me. They look just like a cool breeze. I usually put mine in the fridge for a few minutes, but I'm a very inpatient person. Whatever you're doing is working.
  17. Thank you all very much. It is very encouraging to read everyone's comments. After a while, when things don't come out as they should, it becomes a challenge and you just can't put a rest to it until you succed. Tucker, I will take your advice about a border on my next one. Also, thanks for the compliments on my family. My oldest grandaughter, the dark haired one in the thresome is turning 13 in April. That is depressing. I still see her as a tiny baby. Her sister will be 11 this Friday, 3/3, and the grandaughter in the other picture will be 12 in May. I'm not getting old though, I had my first daughter at 12. Ha, Ha Ha. Thanks everyone:grin2:
  18. After about 10 trys, many, many frustrations- I finally did it. I made them for my daughters. I think they will be very surprised. Thank you Donita for your suggestions and help. Hope you all like them:tongue2:
