  1. I tried Tasha's Vanilla sugar soap just lastnight & LOVE IT! I think it looks like a chunk of marbled brownie (yumm!). All her soaps smell and look so good! Dawn
  2. I'd like to experiment with some lip balms, and "hoping" my beeswax shows up here this afternoon. I didn't order any flavor oils though, is there anything else that I can use for flavoring that I may just have here? Thanks, Dawn
  3. I finally had time to do some "playing" and came up with these. I like how they turned out, and they're super light, so shipping should be inexpensive. I thought these would be neat to display on desks, shelves, etc. I'm also going to design some for "baby" (with baby shower centrepieces in mind), place cards, and they'd look cute for weddings, in the centre of the tables. What do you think? Dawn http://i18.tinypic.com/63a8ck3.jpg http://i18.tinypic.com/53eu748.jpg http://i15.tinypic.com/4kjdd2b.jpg
  4. Just wondering who here has blogs? I had a friend offer to make one up for my webshoppe, and I'm thrilled how perfect it turned out. Don't want to step on any feet though by posting the link to it. Dawn
  5. Very cute! Your niece will love it. Dawn
  6. Thanks for all the compliments! I've been painting for over 10 years now, and this was my first attempt at a floor cloth. This design/pattern is by Terrye French. This afternoon, I'm attempting to paint some window screen:yay: Dawn
  7. Thanks Jenn. It is all hand-painted by me. Dawn
  8. This is a first for me to paint, but I love how it turned out. I've got it listed on ebay, as well as a bunch of other painted creations if anyone's interested. (click on my ebay button in my webshoppe). http://i16.tinypic.com/33fb1qb.jpg Dawn
  9. I just finished painting this suitcase, and I love how it turned out. It's been storing my candles for the last month or two, so it smells OH so good! I'm going to add it to my webshoppe, but thought I'd share a picture of it. http://i5.tinypic.com/30hr1ft.jpg Thanks for looking, Dawn
  10. Thanks everyone! It's sure been fun playing, but I've still got a lot to learn and would like to stock up on more different beads all ready. Dawn
  11. I'm a painter by heart! I love to paint (suitcases, wall hangings, cupboard doors, etc.). I cut my own woodcrafts and paint, paint, paint! I've been painting for over 10 years now, and hope to open my own road-side shoppe in my yard in the next couple of years. Dawn
  12. Please be nice, these are my very first attempts. What do you think? Anklet: http://i9.tinypic.com/3zva2xu.jpg Bracelet: http://i7.tinypic.com/2q30qog.jpg Necklace: (picture doesn't look very nice, but it's actually very pretty) http://i7.tinypic.com/2w67vaf.jpg Thanks for looking, Dawn
  13. Those are gorgeous Jenny! I love the name of them too, Great work! Dawn
  14. I made this recipe today, and poured some into my kids bath a few mins ago. They weren't in there too long, before they both got sore "butts":cry2: and had to get out. Did I do something wrong? Or maybe this is for adults and not kids tender skin? I followed the recipe, any suggestions? Hubby's in a bath as I type this, so he's trying it out. Jeepers, I bought all these ingredients, in hopes of adding them into gift pkgs. I'm thinking if anything, it may be the baking soda, maybe I could make them with epson salts instead of soda? Any suggestions appreciated, TIA, Dawn
  15. I am very interested in your ornies, does anyone have a pic or instructions on making these? Thanks, Dawn
