  1. Does anyone have any idea how much a dye block from BC weighs? I have a bunch to put on ebay, but they are already grated up and I have no idea how much a solid one weighs. Thanks in advance for your help.
  2. I just made a huge mistake and ordered the CBA rather than the CB 135. Can anyone give me an opinion on if I made a good mistake or a bad mistake? Thanks!!
  3. Thanks for all of the help. I think we have decided to try the liquid dye from Candle Science and we are also going to add a bit of beeswax. I'm sure I will be asking more questions in the future. Thank goodness for all of your advice!!!!
  4. I am kinda new to this whole thing. I have everything working well except for the way my candles are looking. I am making container candles and after they cool for about a day or so they are getting a powdery look at the bottom and some on the sides. For example if I pour a blue candle, the bottom looks almost white. I am using EcoSoya CB135 Original blend, Bitter Creek FO's and Bitter Creek block color dyes. Does anyone have any advice?
  5. I am using the EcoSoya CB135 right now, but I see that a lot of people on this board are using the EZ Soy so I ordered some of it last night. I think my wicks are too big so I am also changing that. I just wanted to make sure I had all of my ducks in a row.
  6. What do you think is the most important thing to create a good hot scent throw?
  7. Any ideas on where I could get a sample pack? I just want to cover all of my bases. I received my jars on Saturday and I think the FedEx guy thought I was gonna kiss him!! I was jumping up and down all excited. Now all I need is my wax, FO, dye, wicks........!!!! HEHE
  8. I am new to this and I am trying to determine which wicks to use. I am making 26 oz containers and the diameter is about 3.5-4". We are using EcoSoya CB135 wax and we are considering double wicking. EcoSoya told me to use the HTP1212 wicks, but someone else told me to use the Heinz Coreless CD12. I want to have several options in case one wick doesn't work well. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help!!!
  9. I am getting ready to make my wax melters our of the Presto Kitchen Kettles and I have a question. Can I use 1/2" spigots instead of 3/8"? Thanks!!
