Thanks for all the advice..who knew? NOT ME! lol..I have taken off the candy that has the names. I guess I dont understand how soooo many people are able to sell trade marked items on ebay. Obviously they are like me and didnt know they were doing wrong. Oh well, what can you do? I will be more carefull in the future.

Aww i love the gal that makes my molds. She doesnt sell them anymore for this exact reason, come to find out. So, looks like I will rename the ones that dont show and name..and make the others just for me..lol

Thats what I was thinking...maybe I could get the name off..Heres the email the gal sent me..I dont know if its rude or if Im just sensative.. I wanted to know, do you hold special licensing to use Registered Brand Trademark Names on your soap creations like, Oreo, Mounds, Kit Kat, Hershey,and Snickers. If you do,then I know I am buying from a legitmate business. If not, then it is illegal to use their names for your soap creations and sell as a retail. A state tax permit is not the same. Thank you for your time in this matter. I always check out my ebay sellers before I buy something. Have a good day! I thanked her for her concern and explained that the lady I buy my molds from does have a copyright...BUT that the only name brand ON my soaps are the kitkat names...Mounds and snickers dont have the name...this email really hit me on the nasty side, but like i said Im probably really sensative since Im only starting out...

I bought several molds to make soap with. The lady that makes the molds sells them, so i figured I could make soap and sell them. Well, they are of snickers, mounds and kitkats...the only name showing is the KITKat name. Well, some lady emailed me today on ebay saying that I was breaking the law and blah blah..Am I? Im so upset now Im shaking.I would never break the law...but I assumed that since I was able to purchase the mold i should be able to sell what is made from it right?

Darn...for 36 bucks that body butter better do my dishes and make me dinner! Haha...Well, I agree with you. i think it would be easier to go down than to go up. So, Im going to try the old rule of 2xwholesale and 3xresell and see how my show goes. Thanks so much.

Thanks so much! I will be like a mad woman finishing up last min soap this week. My set up wont be too elaborate, considering my cash flow right now...but I think it will look nice. I will most DEF take some pics and post them as soon as I finish. The booth rent was for a 10x10 and it was 45.00. The show is from 9-4 so Im hoping to have a huge turn out. I do start second guessing my prices. I have been told to double my price for wholesale and triple for my own sells...but some of my products I think the triple price is too high. My hubby told me to stop second guessing, that people will buy them. Nothing is over 10 dollars...so I guess this first show will tell all! Thanks again...you guys are wonderful

Thank you guys! I knew you would shoot it straight it with me. I absolutly HATE that shipping is as much as my product. I try to give a good discount, but what can you do? Ive got my first real craft show coming up and I have a lot of stuff I have made that is not on my site. Of course when I get it up I will let yall know. I really dont get my feelings hurt easily. I figure if noone tells you what you need to change, you will never KNOW to change it.

Alright guys, after all of this time making and testing...making and testing...reading the posts and testing...Im doing my first REAL craft show next weekend! I have my product, my table coverings (sheets and pretty runner) and I have my business cards with my ebay site...I know there are tons of posts on this subject, but just thought I would throw it out again and say... Any last min. suggestions on what to do and what not to do? What to for sure take? Im just now starting to get nervous...and am in need of a hug and feedback..lol

Okay, after years of looking at this site...I finally started making my own products and we just opened our ebay store. I know its not much to some people, but to me its everything. Thanks ladies! That site was great. I happen to have a hair dryer hot enough and so far have wrapped 15 things...wooohooo Im on a role. I cant believe how much more professional these look. So far the sealer was a good investment

I should be use to posting with this title by now! Okay, i was wanting to shrink wrap somethings...I bought a roll of shrink wrap and an impulse sealer because I could have sworn that was what someone told me to get from shrinkwrapstore...well, now i have a roll of shrink wrap and an impulse sealer and have no idea what to do with either...I have a show in 2 weeks and I need help...I could go in either direction...but Im very curious how to shrink wrap?? and if I can get a heat gun and do it why do I need an impulse sealer?? Im sooooo confused

OH she just said she refunded my money too already on the 13th and that I should have it by monday. I kept the email she sent and will be sending it to the bb and my bank by Monday. I hate this company with a passion. This was my first experience at dealing with a person who doesnt care about CS..to me, this is stealing. To take someones money and not provide a product. Just makes me wonder how many people she has ripped off.

I got her addy from the bb. I will be calling the police department there, probl not much they can do...and turning her into the BB, which she knows well and again, does very little...and i am filing fraud charges with my bank...other than that, its my mistake and she will walk with my money just like she did countless others...how sad. I never thought about contacting her domain host...how do I find that out?

This is the letter i just sent to her... I know that 40 dollars doesnt seem like much, but I contacted my lawyer today and you are in violation. I have contacted the BB against you as well as others that I know that you have done the same thing to. According to my lawyer, you have taken money for a service you did not provide. You have taken money from my personal account under false pretenses. I am turning over all evidence to him and the BB. I suggest you answer my emails. Obviously you do not care about your reputation as a business as i have spoken with countless others who have used you and had the same problems. I want my money back or we will be filing a suit against you immediatly. Most people would not care about 40 dollars, but i think you should be made accountable for what you are doing to people who are TRUE business women. This is pathetic. Time as of now is July 15 315pm. If I have not recieved my money or my product as of Monday I will continue with my course of action.

She has yet to refund my money and I am turning her in to the BB. I suggest you do the same. I m also filing charges with my bank against her...at least I think i can do that. She obviously doesnt care about her customers or being turned in, as she has been turned in several times and ignores the bb. All we can do is spread the word about her and her company. Its pitiful. And 40 dollars may not be much to some, but it was MINE and she stole it in my opinion. All i can say is that Karma is a b@@@. What an aweful business person. BUYERS BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! Use fleximold and jags and unlimitedmolds...they are wonderful. Stay far away from this gal.

Well i did things backwards here...I ordered from a company I never used before and got ripped off...then went and checked the BB. SoapandCandleMolds has been turned over to the BB 6 times just this year! Thats over once a month! And Im turning them in today so thats 7. Obviously this lady is a scam artist and has no intention of sending me my product or refunding my money. I paid out of my checking account...and im not sure what I can do about it? NOte to self: Check BB before using a company and ALWAYS use paypal!! I sure wish I knew how this lady stays in business!

Oh you know men...my hubbys response was "That will take ALOT of silicone!" I think i would feel weird about selling it to others too..hahah..I laugh when I think of it.. But seriously, if anyone knows where I can get a novelty mold like that I really need one. This was going to be a big account for me because there was 15 women that sell Pleasure Party and they all wanted to start buying from me. I really would like this mold.

Well Im glad that I didnt order from the second site. What a nightmare this has been. I did bring up the fact that my DH should be my live model...hes still thinking about it...hahah

Yall are hillarious! Whats worse is that I already brought up the subject to hubby...and he had this stunned look on his face like "What the @@@" It was priceless. I emailed the lady back and told her that I thought the professional way to handle this was fill my order...nto make me wait another month for my money back. Im contacting the BB if i dont hear back by monday..This company is really good at ignoring emails. I bet the 3 inch would work. I had ordered the 5 in but im desperate now...I never thought i would be desperate for a 3 inch "thingy"..Okay, now Im going into the gutter...Oh well, what can you do but laugh right? I did tell my hubby that he promised to support my soap business in anyway possible...the idea is still pending..lol Thanks!!

If you have read my rant in my earlier post, you will know why i am asking this.. Are Soapandcandlemolds and SiliconeSoapMolds the same person? I want to make darn sure that i dont do business with the same person again. Thanks lovies!
