  2. http://www.justbynaturesupply.com/ http://www.justbynaturesupply.com/Havanna_Nights_Fragrance.html looks like the company moved to mesquite texas. maybe the company was sold?
  3. dicks is a small one, only 10 qt. its the new design to reduce the oil needed. sports academy is a big one, the original 28 qt. sports academy does not have an online cart, you have to pick up at the store.
  4. add a drop of red dye to your orange wax. adjust if needed.
  5. cierra candles is in nevada. i dont know if they stock soap supplies. snowdrift farms in arizona does stock soap supplies. that is the closest one that comes to mind.
  6. i add more than 1 oz per pound of wax. you might have candle nose too.
  7. what ever works for you, one container might need 1" space and another might need less. thats why you see other candles with wick spaces that differ. keep testing spacing the wicks differently until you get the burn you like. some containers are not wickable at all and you dont know until you test, test, test.
  8. na, you dont need much. its not suppose to be as strong as a tart or candle. just a little scent for relaxation. the warm water and steam help the scent throw.
  9. its freezing here too. i made 2 batches of soap last night. i measure my lye and water in the house. i dont take my scales outside, haha. i always mix outside, i feel more comfortable.
  10. yes you can and its very enjoyable. my hot tub came with a scent pack. pumps tolerate the water chemicals, so it can handle essential oils too.
  11. i suggest mixing the lye outside of your home.
  12. bcn hersheys chocolate does not smell true to me. i cant give it away.
  13. basically you answered your own question. to learn about wicks, go to the source, website of a wick maker. http://www.braidway.com/ there is alot to read there. they have tech support too. it would be nice if one wick type and size worked perfectly with every container. i dont wonder why a wick does not work, i keep trying different wicks until it burns the way i like.
  14. i have the anchor hocking 8 oz rectangle jars and its not hard to wick at all. i double wick.
  15. i like butt naked, lily of the valley, honeysuckle.
  16. linens and things & bed bath and beyond are owned by the same company.
  17. yes its the embossed fruit jelly jars for canning. the dollar general and freds sells those. i think the brand is golden harvest, its been a long time since i bought any.
  18. their shipping is a joke. you may or may not ever receive your order.
  19. my elec warmer does not get that hot, or i would not use it.
  20. the recipe from the old ct board has too much fo. thats more than what i use in wax. it might stain your sheets and take too long to dry, not to mention the scent will be over powering.
  21. 3" - 4" works best for me. anything past 4" has problems, the tealight cannot keep the wax melted completely, which weakens the throw. i will not sell tealight warmers below 3".
  22. the jar is a waste of time for me, its too short. the candle would be gone in no time.
