  1. I've used chocolate in my Chocolatier soap and to be perfectly honest there's nothing different than just using a small amount of cacao powder in it and it's cheaper. A half teaspoon in an off white mixture will present the same colour after curing but granted, I did use couverture chocolate from Belgium which made it more annoying. I found it didn't sell as well either as the lotion bars I made containing chocolate.
  2. I try to add as little water as possible when I'm hand milling my soaps, I start with a tablespoon and I find that the double boiler just the rest if I shred it up fine enough. I find adding a little sodium lactate helps to bring the soap together too. I tried it once on one of my softer loaf mistakes and it made a very hard bar once done with. Hope that helps for anyone who's looking for hand milling tips also.
  3. On eBay: (ignore the au: I'm just in Australia. The items are in the US but I purchased the 40 cavity one and it served me well.) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Melon-Ball-Small-40-Cavity-Silicone-Mold-265-/160869424300?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2574909cac http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Melon-Ball-Small-9-Cavity-Silicone-Mold-885-/160576044104?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item256313fc48 Alternatively you could just use a square loaf mould, make a soap recipe that's not extremely hard and use a melon baller yourself to make round soap balls. There's also the option of going on eBay and getting cheap cake pop 2 part moulds, those I also use if I want to have bigger balls or a combo.
  4. I do it but I do it in stages. 1. First I make whipped CP soap (customers love it when the icing portion floats) 2. 3 days before cure time I make the bathbomb cupcake bottoms and leave them to harden. 3. 3 days later, grab an unscented bath melt from my stash, melt it (make sure it's at a fairly cool temp so it doesn't fizz the bath bomb) and dip the bottom of the CP Whipped Soap in the melted bath melt and press it onto the cupcake bottom. And you're done. I've found that even just using a touch of Cocoa Butter will stick it. If I didn't explain it properly maybe I could do a tutorial with pictures for you or if you have any questions just ask and I'll try my best to answer.
  5. I made mine because international shipping is murder.
