I'm new to this site and compared to many on this forum I'm a newborn at candlemaking. In the beginning (which wasn't too long ago), I had all these thoughts of starting a business and selling candles. How hard could it be right? Melt wax and put a wick in it...lol. Well, lets just say I'm not quitting my day job. Luckily, I have a great career and no children yet so that i can even afford this hobby. I started making candles only 4 months ago but I learned very quickly that candlemaking is like earning your degree. It first takes a lot of sweat, time, dedication, MONEY, studying and testing. Then when you graduate you're still at the bottom of that ladder.
