  3. And yet, I'm still wondering what the purpose of this post was. Kinda like logging in to a high-performance 'vette forum for the first time and saying "I prefer a Prius".

  4. This is confusing, it's called "flameless candle," but the word candle means that it has an ignitable wick embedded in wax or another flammable substance, so it's a light that resembles a candle, because I don't see how there is anything that can be a "flameless candle." I know they're calling these things "candles" for marketing, but I don't think they should because they are not "candles" at all.

  5. First post in a hand-crafted candle forum is "I prefer fake candles"? I think the autobots have stepped up their game.

  11. As the holiday season is rapidly approaching I thought it would be a good idea to dust off this original Pourette mold from the 1970s. Just shy a pound of CBL-141, 7% of a wonderful Christmas fragrance, and a splash of some leaf green liquid dye, and see for yourself. It's really too bad you can't smell for yourself, because this smells just like the department store at Christmas when you were a kid!

  12. I can't believe I forgot to post this one! I finished sculpting him the day after the spooky one. It weighs in at just about 1.5 oz. Gotta love the beeswax! I'm currently working on some new sculpts; hopefully they turn out!

  13. No, this is 100% my creation. I sculpted the Jack out of clay and then made a silicone mold from that. It's really cool to know theres candles out there that are totally original and mine!

  14. I wanted to circle back and follow up on this topic since I'm halfway through both shows. So far - so good! I'm actually almost sold out at both shows (which is down to me underestimating the traffic and people wanting my candles). None of the product has been damaged, which is awesome. I was so hesitant about these because I couldn't be with my product, but I'm really happy with how they have gone. Some feedback I did get from a customer was to have signs stating what the notes were in each candle, and I can definitely incorporate that should I try this again. All in
