  1. Product Is this what you're looking for?
  2. Thanks for the info! I'll give it a try and see if it works.
  3. I hope someone out there can help me. I'm looking for the scent Hawaiian Delight, I guess it used to be a home interiors scent at one time and was discontinued. I looked on the scent finder site and found a company called Sunflower Scents & Supplies. Has anyone used this company? Or know of somewhere else I can find this scent? It had mostly a coconut smell with a bit of pineapple, and what sorta smelled like Hawaiian tropic lotion to me. Probably not the best discription . But I swear I smelled all three of those scents in there:D . Bethany
  4. I like the idea of the plugs. Thank you. Some of the shows can have some pretty wacky ideas on them, but since this was a crafting program I thought, for a split second, well maybe. Shame on me:o . The idea was supposed to be the "perfect personalized gift", I'm sure the person on the other end would feel very special when their house was in flames:rolleyes: . Thank you once again. Bethany
  5. The candle did have a wick, and since it never said not to burn them, I'm sure people would assume it would be OK. The idea given was to buy a plain candle, and then spruce it up a bit with some beads and glitter. I thought it sounded like a bad idea, but wanted to make sure. I know glitter can be OK, but the beads and the double stick tape just didn't sound like a great idea. Thanks for the response:D . Bethany
  6. Hello all, I was watching one of those craft shows on TV, and they had someone showing how to bead a candle. The ones shown were pillar candles. They used that double stick tape and then rolled the candle in the beads, some of them were rolled in glitter. The candles were pretty, but didn't seem like they'd be safe to burn.I was thinking that maybe the plastic tape wouldn't be such a great idea and the beads would probably melt. But has anyone tried this with any success? Thanks in advance Bethany
  7. Hello, here I go again with another question:smiley2: I ordered some tealight cups, and with those I ordered some tealight wicks, I figured they'd be much easier to use instead of cutting down a bunch of long wicks. But here's my problem, when I received the wicks, the label on them says " gel tealights ONLY!" (it didn't say that when I ordered them from the website) I don't do gel candles, and figure that I could probably send them back, but what I want to know is, what's the diffence between an gel candle wick, and a regular tealight wick? Would they be safe to use with regular candle wax? By regular, I mean like a votive or pillar blend wax. Oh, and I've tried calling the 800 number to ask them, but got no answer and thought maybe someone here could help me. Thanks so much! Bethany
  8. Thank you everyone for your help:) . I've been looking all over for those small jars, and driving everyone in my home crazy:p . The sites that were sent were very helpful. Wicking them is a whole differnt game though lol. The ones that are almost too small to wick might be nice for the people who like a wickless candle. Those seem to be real popular here. Bethany
  9. Thank you:smiley2: . That and another site is where I found the 1.5 and 2 oz jars. I could be completely off, but I'm almost positive the jars I'm looking for is that size. I went to the Y Candle site and the smallest jar they have is a 3.75oz. But the jars I have filled in my kitchen hold 4oz, and that's not the size I had long ago. The jars I had in the past would have been half the size of the 4oz jar. Bethany
  10. I orderd some 4oz jars, and these are much too large. They're nice, but not exactly what I was looking for. I was looking for something that could be given away as a sample, or even slipped inside a stocking. The jars are small, I'd say that they'd hold the same amount of wax as a votive. The only other thing I could compare them to would be those sample jellies that are in those sausage and cracker gift things, sometimes given as gifts around the holidays :undecided . The only place I've seen these jars is at the Y candle shop.I even had a few at one time, but that was long before the candle making bug got ahold of me. I know I can find the small jelly jar in 2 oz,which is what I'll probably end up with, but the apothecary jars just seem to have a nicer look to them, IMO. Bethany
  11. Thank you all for the response. The smallest I've been able to find is 4oz. But I know that Y... Candle sells the small sample jars. I think they're 2oz, maybe 1.5. I thought maybe I'd be able to find them online, but no such luck, at least not in the apothecary jar, lots and lots of the hex jelly type though:smiley2: . It could be something they have made just for them. Thanks for your help Bethany
  12. Hello all, I hope I'm posting this in the right section. I'm looking for small (2 oz) apothacary jars. The kind some of the big compaines sell, I think they're also known as a sample size jar. I've found the hex jars, but would really like the others. Is there anyone who can point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance. Bethany
