  1. As long as they have a #5 in the recycle triangle they are good to use.
  2. I know me too, but it is the nature of soy wax lol
  3. Gina, you may have to let soy cure for up to 2 weeks before getting a good throw.
  4. I use Bittercreek's EZ Parasoy and absolutely love it!
  5. I joined and recruited testers from a number of wax users groups on facebook these ladies are serious wax melters...like many have 5 or more warmers going all day long.
  6. Type of wax = EZ Parasoy Fragrance load = 10% Type of warmer = Halogen, Glade Hot Plate, and Bulb Warmer (not sure of wattage) Works best in the Glade hot plate and the Bulb warmer, Halogen gets too hot (even when turned down) although if I use less wax (ie: 1 square of six cavity clamshell vs 2 squares) I get better results in the Halogen. I get 10-15 hours of good to great throw out of 2 squares of a six cavity clamshell. All 330 of my fragrances have been tested by 35 outside independent testers.
  7. Hello, not really a newbie, but in need of finding a new wax. I have been using EL Votive wax and as you may be aware they no longer manufacture this wax. Has anyone tried the GB416 wax? If so can you give me your opinions on the following: Frosting? Wet Spots? Cold throw/hot throw What have you found to be the optimal fo load? I am looking for a wax that I can stick with 6% fo load but understand I may need to increase this going forward. TIA for any information.
  8. I am new to this board but will give the info that I have Type of Soy or Soy Blend you use? Enchanted Lites Votive Blend Additives if any? None Preferred dyes? Liquid Preferred wick (Not sizes)? CD Pouring temp you recommend? Around 160 What you do to prevent frosting? Nothing it is not really a problem What you do to prevent rough tops? Don't have any since switching to this wax Do you do anything to prevent wet spots? No
