  1. We got the same scam from him a few years ago. Didn't send him a refund of course, we knew it was a scam form the get-go because we had never sold a candle to any customers in his state. Someone needs to stop this guy.
  2. Try the Jar Store. I know we got some from them before.
  3. We use high temp radiator patch repair glue we usually buy from a Napa auto store. It comes in a red tube and have never had a wick come unstuck yet
  4. We use IPower Web for our host at $7.95 a month and also register our domain through them for $8 a year. Check out our site at www.beechcreekcandles.com I design my own site, but you can hire a pro to do it as well....your choice.
  5. This time of year, we are doing alot of fundraisers too....we always give 50% of sales. Yes, your own overall profit may not be as much, but you also have to consider that you are getting your name out there...and thats great advertising. We've always had "after fundraiser sales" and those are sales we would never have had. :smiley2:
  6. According to the return address we got with the letter, the name is Paul. A. Hanson I'm hoping someone isn't scamming this guy by using his name, but that's the name we got.
  7. We got the same letter as well. I tracked his address to a phone number 320-235-0932 But there hasn't been an answer. When I do find this guy, he'll wish he'd never crossed paths with me. The address he gave was 312 9th st. NW Willmar MN 56201
  8. Thank you everyone for your comments. My wife and her sister have made quite a few of the diaper cakes, and the motorcycle was made for a boy baby shower. I'll post others as I get them.
  9. Here's a motorcycle made from diapers that my wife and SIL made for a recent shower. Enjoy..
  10. Thanks everyone for your comments. I'll try and submit more pics later.
  11. The wick centering gizmos are from Candlewic. I believe they are called "jar cappers" on their site.
  12. Just thought I would share one section of our pouring table...set up for a fundraiser. I have two "tables" that can go on top of this layer allowing me to pour 150 candles in one session.
  13. We sell our replacement votives for $1.25. Most stores in the area that sell votives are asking the same. While our votives are soy, we still wouldn't get many sold if we were to ask upwards of $2. At $1.25, we sell quite a few....it's better to make profit on volume than individual, IMO.
  14. We pay our reps 25% commission on sales made directly by them either through craft shows they attend or house parties etc. We also pay 10% commission on wholesale orders they obtain with a minimum 4 case order.
