  1. Wouldn’t you know that the one that did have the spots on the side has the best throw! I used Peaks Cornucopia on that one. The other three I used Peaks Cappuccino Hazelnut Coffee and have never had a strong throw with that one, but BOY do they look pretty! WOOO HOOO I will be taking a photo tomorrow and re-learning how to add a photo to this site...I am RUSTY!
  2. I know this will not be a big deal to all of you professionals, BUT TO ME...HUGE!!! I finally made 4 container candles with no spots on the side of 3 of them. WOO HOO! My husband said I think these are the best candles you have made. I had to come here and jump for joy! WOOOOO HOOOOO *getdown* :whoohoo: *super banana*
  3. I would recommend Peak Candle Supplies as well! Fast delivery and great FOs:)
  4. Ok I have been looking at this recipe for a while, and I have a dumb question I am sure. :embarasse WHen you add the drops of FO does it clump?
  5. My best friend and I were talking about our favorite fall scents and we both said that our most favorite scent is the smell of dust burning during the first start up of the heater in your home. Are there any fragrances that contain that smell? Are we crazy? Are we the only ones who love that smell? I am not sure it would smell good in a candle, but I think some combo of a fall fragrance and that could be cool!! it would help me chill (relax) during the nasty summer months.
  6. Good to know! Thanks. I am still embarassed
  7. :embarasse :embarasse :embarasse :embarasse :embarasse I keep looking at all of these beautiful soaps, with deep dark colors, and I gotta ask you. When you lather the soap, does it discolor your skin? When I get to Colorado, I am going to attempt soap! So excited!!!
  8. Worlds dumbest questions I know! Just wanted to state that so you don't get overwhelmed by how dumb my question is. 1) What is a lotion bar? (So embaressed:embarasse :embarasse :embarasse :embarasse :embarasse ) 2) would this be a good starter project (I am thinking of using this as my first B&B attempt) Go ahead, mock me, laugh at me ( I know I am laughing at me too!)
  9. I agree with the others, I think you have a defective presto pot . Both of the ones I purchased (got em off of ebay, the lady was GREAT) work great and fast, I have never put them any higher than warm
  10. What about yellow and brown? (thinking the outside of a bananna yellow with brown spots)
  11. This is a really neat product which I would love to use, but worlds dumbest question. Since it is made out of glass, can it cut you?
  12. I really love the way they look. I would buy them! Love the FO Combo
  13. Holy Cow that is COOL!!!! When I move to CO I want to try to make them (not making any candles until we move, I tend to get messy:embarasse and have a house to sell)
  14. Not sure if this is the correct place to post so please forgive if I have posted in the wrong place! (move me if I have posted in the wrong place and I will beg forgivness:whip: DH and I are moving in Jul-Aug time frame. What is the most safe manner in which to move my supplies (wax, FO, color etc) I know the military won't allow their movers to move candles so I am concerned as I have quite a bit invested in my testing supplies!:embarasse
