I use mineral makeup from alot of different companies. The last samples I bought came in 5 gram jars and those aren't big enough to swirl in. I always use a little plastic container or whatever I can find. I say keep the 3 gram jars because unless someone orders the full size jars they wont be able to swirl in them anyway and I hate those little baggies! I think offering empty jars is a good idea too!
I love Mineral Make-up. I won't ever use anything else now. I've been using it for about 4 years and finally settled on Lumiere. I have normal to dry skin. http://www.lumierecosmetics.com/
Hi, I've been making soaps and candles for about 5 years, but I have been away from it for about a year. Been on the board lurking just nothing to post. Anyway, here is my first ever goats milk soap. No scent and no color. It's 3 days old and still very light. Will this get darker? 2nd is Spring Mountain Mint from OT. The top popped of my dye as I was trying to get my swirl color ready and while I was trying to clean up that mess my soap got to thick to do a proper swirl. Sure feels good to be soaping again. Thanks for looking! Aileen
I bought some shea from a co-op a while back. The hostess actually froze it and shipped it in little styro foam coolers. It didnt seem to change the shea at all.
My son is 14 and has just recently broken out really bad. He must have had 50 pimples..white heads and red bumps on his forehead. I've started him washing his face every night and morning. In fact I just finished supervising him. I made up a concoction of Jojoba oil (closest to skins own sebum from what i've read) and a few drops of tea tree oil. I mix it together and he massages it in allover his face. Then he takes a very warm washcloth and lets it lay over his face until it starts to cool. He does this several times and then starts wiping it off with a final rinse. His skin is no longer oily and the difference it's made in his acne is unbelievable. Everyone is right about the over the counter acne meds. They just dry out the skin causing the skin to produce more oil. This may not work for everyone, but it's worth a try. HTH
I love the Scented Bean! I've tried Mimosa and Tangerine, Sweet Serendipity, Seaside, Citrus Splash, Peace and my absolute favorite Garden Refreshmint. All stong throwers in soy/paraffin blend and 1343 pillars.
I burned it 24 hours after pouring. Nice smooth creamy appearance. The scent throw on a scale of 1-10 I would have to say is a 10. (energizing FO) Im getting almost a perfect burn the 1st time around. After 4 hours 1st burn and 2 hrs on 2nd burn I have just the slightest hang up of wax residue on the sides..just a tad. It's really burning quite beautifully. I really like how this was isnt as sticky like J223 or comfort blend and it's not a hard slab either. Just cut right through it with a butter knife. No wet spots either. It seems to take color pretty well too. So far I am very happy with this wax.
